If you expect service from a bank.. even basic service.. this is not your bank. Never had a worse experience at a bank I was only in for 5 minutes.

Unbelievable. After all the hoops we have to jump through to open up a business and personal account with the largest Hawaii bank, that should have the latest in technological capabilities, it is unacceptable and extremely disappointing that I cannot transfer electronically between my accounts at the same bank. It is not 1990. This should be a minimum feature for any bank this day in age. I have accounts with other smaller local banks, that I've been able to transfer between accounts with for over 10 years. There should be no reason that we cannot transfer between accounts. Now I need to switch my business account and personal account to another bank so I can do basic online banking. Thanks for the major time waste, step it up BOH it's 2023!

I made an appointment online for a notary and the business hours changed but know one informed me and I went to the Kihei Branch and it was closed. I also had reminders saying don't forget your appointment and I show up and it's closed due to fires mind you it's been over a month and it's Lahaina hit the hardest not Kihei, I'm sorry to be rude but make sure your clients are informed if changes. Not happy and I bank with BOH for over 6 years.

Spent over 1 hour on hold. Simply unacceptable and the customer service experience is diminished! I hung up after an hour.

This branch is quite possibly the worst branch out of all bank of Hawaii. As soon as it gets busy, one of the older branch members always decides to take a lunch at 10:30 there could be a line out the door and she still leaves. I’m not sure why they the slowest people on earth work at this branch, and why every other branch can expedite quickly and professionally But this one cannot I have wasted hours of my life standing in this line

Edna is so clueless. Get choke people in line and she gossiping with customer at her station. Like hello sis get plenny people here waiting to do transactions and you gonna talk story about what line shrimp chips you like. I can't believe management don't know or do stunting cuz it's not the first time she holding court. Also because all 10 people in line here can here every word she sayin

Customer service is fine with tellers, but to schedule a notary, wire transfer, any business transaction has been impossible. I do not want to schedule by computer, was referred to private notary, and can't do a wire transfer until 8 days from now. More examples, but our account is being closed. Horrible business practices.

Had a cashier's sent to me Fedex from my bank in Oregon. I put it in for deposit and BOH put an 8 working days (13 days total) hold on a my bank's cashier's check. I could understand 3 days...but 8? Wow. I also deposited 2 personal checks for a job and they cleared in 2 days.

Edna was extremely helpful, kind and patient! She helped me figure out some frustrating issues I've been having with the BOH app.. She made my day! ..Keep up the great work and amazing customer service!! I'll definitely be referring people to BOH, They seem to know how to treat their customers right! :))

I stopped in at opening (understanding that it’s senior citizens hour) and the security guard at the door stopped me. There were two men at the teller. One of the men was definitely a senior citizen, but the other man was younger than I was. There was an open teller at the time. I was there for 2rolls of quarters, and the security guard wouldn’t even listen to me. Totally shafted ?. Very disappointing when we put our trust in establishments like this and you can’t even get the service you need. Definitely going to take my business to another bank

Got here at 8:30 am...staff says Kapuna only which is cool..But not on the website...great way to waste time on a Monday morning...
