I should be able to give zero stars. The pharmacist was professionally negligent. When prescribed cephalexin for a skin infection we were told they were out. The tech said we could wait three days for the next shipment. Wait for sepsis to set in? The pharmacist would not talk to us and would not phone the doctor for a substitution. Negligence. We had to go back to the doctor’s office!

It’s not the cleanest, but it’s location is easy to get to and they usually have most things in stock. Surprisingly a very large selection of decently priced wine. Lots of homeless, etc hang around the store and parking lot so be sure not to leave any valuables in your car..

My purchase was complicated because I had a rain check, return, and needed stuff from the stock room (in large boxes)- then I had to go online and reload my debit card! Regina was so patient and kind. She also got a manager to help the person waiting in line behind me. Thank you to the manager for helping with the rain check and for another person who went to the stock room. You all have the best service on Maui.

The pharmacist, Amber, was a true professional. She helped me with an unusual situation. All the other staff in the retail part of the store were immediately helpful and seemed cheerful while doing so.

I had looked and looked for a leigh at the airport. I could not find any. What trip to Hawaii would be complete without getting a leigh. I kept looking. I still did not find any. Finally, on ny second trip to Longs Drug Store, I found some leighs in a cooler at the front of the store. I was so pleased to find this item. In addition to the leigh, I also found snacks to take back to my hotel. I also found motion sickness medication. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful.

Great convenience store. Plenty of parking and they always keep the shelves well stocked. The workers are very helpful and really make sure you find what you're looking for and they always have several registers open so youre never waiting too long.

Pretty much the same feeling when you go to CVS elsewhere BUT with more of Hawaiian items like coffee, macadamia or local Hawaiian chips. Got long receipts too with coupons like when you go to CVS. Cashier was friendly & patient while i am trying to show up my CVS card.

Very helpful and understanding pharmacist and her assistant saved me after I inadvertently ran out of one of my medications while on vacation. Within less than an hour I had a refill and was back out in the sun. Thanks!

I am always impressed with the kindness of the staff and the pharmacist every time I come in. I truly believe that they care about my well being and do everything they can to support whatever I need and offer their assistance if I ever have any future questions or to feel free to reach out to them. If you are looking for a family style neighborhood pharmacy, where they know your name, and actually care, this is the place to go.

I went in this morning to drop off a prescription. The young pharmacist female glanced at my prescription, slid it back to me and said they did not have the medication I needed. She told me there was a shortage on island. She said Safeway was out and CVS lipoa would not take any new customers. I then asked if she could call another CVS in Kehalani to see if they had my MEDICATION. She said NO. Confused, I asked again, could you please call the other pharmacy. NO. I then said, perhaps I'm not explaining myself. Last month the Kehalani store was short on the meds, so they called this store, confirmed you had the meds, and I came here and filled it. I then asked “ can you do that?†No. I then called the other pharmacy, identified myself, and was invited to come on over, we have what you need. I did. I asked about the shortage. I was told a similarly named medication was at a shortage, not mine! This is the THIRD time I have been treated this way at the Kihei pharmacy. By nature I'm a very nice, happy go lucky guy. I have asked my friends about their experiences at this store. I have lived on Maui for 25 years, and have many buddies from all kinds of backgrounds and ethnicities. By far, my results seemed the lighter your skin, the more likely you got less than professional assistance. I have a bunch of stuff on my to do list, but I took the time to write this frgn novel. I'm moving my business ( as others have told me they have done, and will do ) to another pharmacy. This isn't “ my fries are cold†this is my Dr. prescribed medication, and I expect professional assistance, no matter my skin color. Aloha.

Smells like cat pee in the entire place. I was literally gagging and had to wait for my boyfriend outside. Good selection of stuff but no way I would want to spend more than 10 seconds in here.
