We don't live in Hawaii, so this store is a real treat for us. They have the best Poke's we have tried and trust me, we tried a lot of places. Both in and out of Hawaii.

The poke here is great. The staff was awesome. Parking was easy and the store was very clean. Make sure to get the rice when you order your poke.

KIHEI, HI 96753 / GROCERIES / 10-27-23 / DINNER+This Foodland is much smaller than the ones I visited in Oahu.+They have a hot food bar station.-They didn't have any poke. :(-The takeout sushi was a bit fishy.-The garlic chicken bento was overcooked and super dry; inedible after a few bites.-The musubis tasted like plastic.

Pretty good groceries here and savings if you use your discount card/codeThe only complaint I have is someone trashed my car while I was parked out back, dang I was only in there for an hour. Corvette owners beware, but I'm sure the scratches will buff out.

This store was clean & fully stocked. I didn't have any issues finding anything. An employee named Roger informed me that I could bring my puppy (almost 1yrs old this coming Nov.) along with me into the store the next time I'm there. Something to look forward to.

Best poke. Garlic and spicy but many options. We shopped here daily. Love them. Love thier poke. The groceries are not more expensive than Safeway, so easy peasy.

A great place to check out some local specialties and get some food for grilling. You'll find all the normal things your used to plus some Hawaiian specials. The staff is friendly and helpful. I especially loved the selection of Tuna Poke.

One of the 1st things before checking into the condo was grocery shopping and 1/2 pound of poke. I've always enjoyed Foodland's poke especially at Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu. I was expecting the same quality and taste throughout Foodland. Not so. The shoyu poke I got was full of the tough, sinewy pieces of ahi. Some pieces were hard and inconsistent in texture. I did not enjoy it and was very disappointed.

Best prices for groceries in all of kihei. Locally owned. They take care of the locals. Safeway, Longs Drugs, and all the other places selling groceries and household needs are really expensive. Kihei is a tourist town. If you're not familiar with Kihei, go to Foodland it's the only place locals can afford. All the mainland people who move and bought condos, houses, etc, that's why Kihei is so expensive. Don't get me wrong, there is alot of local people who call Kihei home. I have friends that were raised there, and after talking to them, they said they only shop at foodland in kihei for quick pick-up stuff. All of them said they go shop at wailuku at Costco. I'm from Lahaina and lost my home. God has blessed my family with a place to stay temporarily in Kihei. Once in a while, we drive to Kihei before to cruise and to go eat at the best restaurant in Kihei at Mooses. That's the only place to get great prices and awesome service. That's my opinion of Kihei now that I am living there temporarily. I would never live there permanently unless I made over a $100,000 a year way too expensive crazy.....

The store has lots of food with different varities. They have a Poke area, along with a bakery. However, they also have items other than food, such as towels, folding chairs, etc. Staff are kind. It’s a large food store, would recommend for shopping food.

Good selection, but a bit pricey. There are other stores on the island that offer better prices. Excellent poke!

A Hawaiian grocer staple. Poke is located at the back right side of the store while spam musubi and savory snacks are located at the front left of the store. Everything else is about double the price of their mainland counterparts, but that's to be expected.I like buying their reusable Foodland bags as cheap gifts for people though, and they've often got fun Foodland/Hawaiian graphics on them.

Tourists trap prices. On top of that, I was charged $10 fee for HAWAII WTR DEPOSIT - for who knows what (didn't get any bottled drinks). Just avoid.

Stopped in, because it's just what you do when you're in Hawaii. What I am really referring to or reviewing here is the poke. First time and I am SOLD. As you can see by the photos, we got the 1/2 lb container and 1 scoop of rice. It's was perfect for two of us who were not overly starving. So happy I finally tried this poke. I think it's ruined me for looking elsewhere or even back home.Side note: kombucha was about 2.50 more than what I typically pay back home. Coming in at over 7 bucks.
