10 dollars for 4 scopes of fresh fish caught that morning! Recommended by my Uber driver and I'm so glad I took his advise. We ended up cancelling our dinner reservations and just getting poke and rose 3 nights in row.

On the drive up to Kalului coming from Kaanapali beach, we decided to stop at Lahaina and grabbed some small snacks at Foodland. The store had a good selection of grocery items and even drinks. We grabbed some shrimp tempura musubi, spam musubi, and a guava bread for dessert!
Overall, our experience while shopping was good, and the snacks we picked up filled our stomach up while driving up to Kalului.

Came here just for their poke. Wide variety and they allowed me to sample which is very nice when you're not sure if you'll like the taste after spending $12/lb. We asked what are the 2 most popular we got that. It was the California poke and the Shoyu. We also like to eat our poke with Maui Shrimp Chips. So good.
The photo shows poke we also bought from Tamura's. The prices there were $16/lb and you can't sample. Overall, I would go with Foodland bc of the variety, freshness, and prices (oh and the ability to sample)!

Great stop for all of your local grocery needs and away from the overpriced resort costs. Honorable mention: poke. They have the absolute best poke on the island. Get there early so you get the best selection since they can sell out so quickly. As the butcher was putting everything out, I was already waiting behind someone. Since there were so many to choose from, I asked the butcher to pick two of his spicy favorites. I ended up with tuna in a special sauce and a creamy wasabi- INCREDIBLE. The wasabi was my favorite and so unique. The fish was so fresh and the sauce combination had my tastebuds dancing. I even ate some the next morning and it was just as good.

All around great experience until I get to the register. Sheila was not helpful at all. Wanted all bulky stuff on the belt which is fine. But later makes several comments that is uncalled for. This employee has no problem mouthing off to customers. I used to love comming to this location. Today sheila reminded why I stopped comming... the rude and ignorant comments, laziness and speaking in another language. The worst part is I understood what you were saying even if it was in another language.

Grocery store with great selection, reasonably priced (Sign up for the free rewards membership to get the additional discounts) but what this place will be known for is poke! Very reasonably priced poke (note they are previously frozen), come early for good selection. Also worthwhile to mention is their garlic chicken in the deli section, when it is hot and fresh, an astounding value at $9.99/pound for an awesome meal!

We will drive farther just to shop here as their options are fresh and there is a good variety of items to choose from. We have enjoyed their sushi, the fresh Poke, and their frozen juice bars are ... AHHH... MAZING! Become a "member" with your phone number and enjoy various discounts! Support the local economy while on Maui!

Perhaps the best grocery store out there! We found ourselves coming back to this grocery over and over again for the fresh poké. They have a ton of options and are very generous with their samples so you can determine which flavour is your favorite! I recommend the wasabi oyster sauce. Ask which are locally caught that day - it is slightly more pricy, but this fish tastes so much fresher (though it is all really fresh). All of the employees really seemed to go out of their way to help us find everything we needed! Awesome customer service. Skip the overpriced restaurant poke and come here and take your poke to the each for that ocean view :)

Really good poke. Too bad Richie at the front had to be so rude and ruin the visit for us. Not coming back here again thanks to her.

When I think Foodland I think poke! Every Foodland has a huge assortment of poke and when I'm visiting Maui I eat my weight in poke. I've probably tried them call by now but my go to's are the Shoyu and the California varieties, both delicious. If you're looking for a bowl you can get 1 or 2 scoops with rice for $6.99 or $9.99 each. One of the "cheaper" meals you'll have on Maui. In terms of groceries; well they have it all and it's expensive because it's Maui but the stores are always clean and well stocked so no complaints.

This is a review for Foodland Farms on Keawe Street in Lahaina, Maui. I called in advance to make sure they had Kai Choi. I was connected to the Produce Department. I asked if they had Kai Choi and the guy paused for a bit and said "yes, we have Kai Choi." I needed It for a soup I was making for a dear friend who is going through chemo. I walked into Foodland Farms and I did not see the Kai Choi. I went to the cashier and told her my dilemma and she called for the guy. I met him and told him I spoke with him about the Kai Choi and he started looking around for it. I asked him if they had any in the back because there isn't any here in the front. I even told him why I needed the Kai Choi. Marcello who looked to be in his 70's grabbed another type of greens and laughed and said, "here just use this." I was appalled that he could laugh at the situation. I said, "the reason why I called was to make sure you had it, now you laugh and say use something else?" Normally I would just shake it off, but because of the special situation I was in and the fact that he didn't even go and check when I called; plus he laughed in my face about it and suggested I use another type of green, I was crushed. Marcello, you are lazy and have terrible customer service.

Very happy to have read that I should try the poke here - the first time we came for groceries, it was too close to closing time and the poke was gone. We returned the next day earlier to find a fine selection of poke. We typically like tuna, so we ordered a little of each of them and some seaweed salad. All very delicious and fresh, and definitely reasonably priced (we're from CA bay area.) I wish that we had had a bit more time Maui simply to try more of their poke flavors - I wish we had this kind of selection at home that was so easily obtainable. You should definitely come try a bit of poke if you are in here getting other snacks for your drives around Maui - resonable and delicious, I want more now!

My parents and I visited this store on our first day in Maui and ran into a bunch of great foods for a good deal. Towards the end of the night, they discount their foods for super cheap and instead of eating out every meal, we would go here in the evenings to stock up for breakfast and lunch for the following day. The workers are even better, because you don't feel rushed as you're checking out. They took the time to talk to my parents as we were checking out, which felt very personal. Highly recommend checking this place out! Very good priced stuff!

Go here for your Poke'. Honestly - lots to choose from and less $$ than most restaurants. There are tables and chairs outside to eat at but don't forget to pick up some utensils :). One of the best meals I had!
