Visited twice and both times the staff was very friendly, patient and helpful.I got very attentive help in chosing the right makeup colours for my skin tone. I really appreciate the kind service here.Very positive experience because of the employees.

Got full face done for pictures and I was obsessed with the results. Makeup artists are so nice and make Great conversation not awkward silence. I truly felt like a princess by the end they were telling me about my skin type and what color pallet I am making me feel so confident an amazing experience!

It is a really good store. The staff is friendly and the store has an excellent selection of products. It is the best option on the island of Maui to buy makeup and it is in the best mall right by the awesome Kaanapali beach ?️.If you come here, make sure you bring your bathing suit and get in the ocean after coming to Sephora

Fragrance selections have been reduced, but the skin care and makeup product is still plentiful. The staff is competent and friendly.

I came in to this Sephora location in kind of a panic as I pulled out my eyelashes extensions which I didn’t realize was also pulling out all of my real eyelashes. Abby and the team were so helpful, friendly, understanding and kind.Abby was patient and so helpful to me. I purchased a variety of items from fake eyelashes to growing serum, etc. I am truly grateful for her so that I was able to look and feel my best on my honeymoon.Thank you!

Unbelievable rude and un helpful!! I went in to buy a birthday treat of Sunday Reilly good genes. I asked about a bday gift since it was my birthday. I was rudely totaled they had nothing, to check back maybe there's have something in a week. I asked for some hair samples, I was tossed some Sunday Reilly good genes samples. When I pointed out I had just bought it, wanted to try something new, she rolled her eyes and said that's all they had. Worst customer service ever!!$!!!!! I will never buy from Sephora again. Good luck with that snotty attitude on Maui. Ya know locals spend money too.

I do have to admit Sephora does have a beautiful store & a nice product selection. Except their customer service varies. Walking in here you never know if you’re going to have an enjoyable shopping experience or one that makes you want to spend your money elsewhere. For example my mothers birthday was recently & she had a coupon she wanted to use. When she arrived, she was looking in the Clinique section. There’s this box set she always stocks up on, but didn’t remember which one it was off the top of her head. (Attached is the picture of the set she got from a previous shopping trip, she prefers gel vs the lotion.) My mom asked if she could open the drawer to she if they had the one she wanted in back stock. She was told no & was ask you seriously don’t know what you use? My mom told her she was drawing a blank, it wasn’t the one on the shelf but if she saw it she could point it out. The lady basically told my mom that she didn’t wear Clinique so she didn’t know what she was talking about. After giving up & moving to another part of the store she ran into another employee who was actually very friendly. This person helped my mom find something to buy. However when my mom went to pay she was so excited to tell the cashier that she also had a coupon. The cashier just looked at my mom and told her she needed the credit card to use that one. Which is how she paid.Reason for a 3 star rating: 1 star for the employee who was actually nice & helpful to an elderly customer, 1 star for the quality products Sephora sells & 1 star because this is still one of my mothers favorite stores.Shopping tips:-Do your research before going in, this will save you time trying to find someone willing to help you.-Don’t shop here alone, you have a better chance of the employees being nice if there’s an audience.-Don’t shop here with a coupon, they’ll assume you can’t afford to shop here & not want to help you.-If you can wait for your purchase, skip the hassle & just shop online.-Or if possible skip Sephora altogether & shop directly through the brand your purchasing from.
