Best poke we’ve had in Kauai - the selection was incredibly impressive and extensive. Hokkigai, raw crab, kimchi tako, ahi…so good. They also offer sushi and cute inari filled pockets. Butter mochi was delicious as was the pork lau lau. You dont see this place on a lot of tourist guides - it’s a local favourite and we are so glad we stumbled upon it!

Absolutely incredible food! Came here a couple of times during my trip and on the last day came to stock up to take some in my luggage! The lady working there that morning was funny and was caught off guard by the amount of things I got lol! My favorite was definitely the poke, the ginger fried chicken and shrimp and the inari pouches!! I got some poi from here as well!

I'm was in the mood for raw fish and sushi. Now, I MIGHT BE MISTAKEN, I think the fish was previously frozen. I asked the gentleman behind the counter, if the fish was previously frozen and he looked perplexed. So, I asked which poke is fresh and he replied Ahi Shoyu. Now, it was per pound, $19.99 per pound that's cheap. Humm, that did sound right... I'm a fishmonger wife, so I know. On Oahu the price per pound is $25.99 per pound FRESH. I ordered 4- assorted sushi, they had cute names but I just pointed what I wanted.

The freshest seafood. They have great lomi lomi salmon. I usually don't like lomi lomi salmon, but theirs is so good. Everything looked amazing..

We spent 16 days between Kauai and Big Island, and this was the #1 food place we went to in all those days. Damn Konohiki, you fine.

They were so friendly and knowledgeable to our group as visitors to the island, even with a line and a clearly quick moving place! It was such a tasty poke bowl. The fish almost just melts as you eat it, and it was perfect to bring over to the beach park near the airport. They threw in some chop sticks for the 'gram even after I admitted my inability to use em. Friendly and joking ?

This place is certainly unique and far from touristy. This is where the locals go to get a plate lunch to go. It is a fusion of Hawaiian and asian flavors. I had some great pork, ginger fried chicken, and poke here. It's great. Stop in and get some and take it some place with a view. Go early as they sell out.
