This is one of the friendly Longs I've shopped. I like that it is never crowded. The floors stay shiny. I don't think I've ever been to Longs and seen it a mess. All the shelves stay nice and faced and organized. I like to shop the makeup because there's always a sale over there. There is a drive thru pharmacy that I really love, well when I had my car. Sometimes it's just so much easier to grab your meds and not even have to put my makeup on. Incognito at the drive through. Then, I can turn the corner and go through the next drive thru... McDonald's!!!

This review is for the pharmacy. (I'm an Oahu resident and am on Maui for Christmas. I asked my doctor to fax my prescription to this location.) I was promptly greeted and the staff was very friendly and courteous. I'd pick up prescriptions here again if I ever need to!Also, just as I got to the counter, I overheard an elderly customer was just wrapping up his vaccination and I felt the good vibes radiating from the staff who administered it. :)

Kehalani Longs is convenient. The store is fairly new so still looks nice. They usually have most items I’m needing in stock and have a variety of items for purchase. They often only have ONE cashier working, even on Sundays when their weekly sale starts. They have added about 4 self-checkout stations which are really too small and I’m guessing why more people don’t use them. The area to place your scanned items at the self-checkout can barely fit all of your items. Whoever ordered those self-checkout stations clearly aren’t customers as most regular customers will buy sale items in multiples. The store is also really warm so I just want to get in and out of there. The other thing that I still don’t understand are those yard stick length receipts. Talk about wasting paper and time for the cashier to have to keep replacing. Regarding the pharmacy, they provide adequate service in my opinion, but we have experienced out of stock/back order on our prescriptions several times and these were medicines that we really couldn’t wait on so decided to change to a totally different pharmacy (not CVS). Photo orders (graduation and Christmas cards)have been really easy and quick and we were very satisfied with the quality.

Yes, I am giving Longs overall each Longs in any location not just this one a 3 because apparently these people have been trained to check all the numbers pertaining to you CVS EXTRA CARE CARDS and phone numbers, emails, and cards to match everything unless it's the system or the computer idk butt this is redonculus. Being able to utilize these coupons, perks, money is the only reason to have this system.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I went in to purchase Allegra D 24 Hours for my father, I even showed “Allison” a post note with Allegra D 24 Hour 15 Tabs written on it. She rang me up behind her plexiglass partition that has huge red stickers that goes right across the plexiglass so you can’t even see her bagging it. I paid $30.00 and walked out. I get home that evening and opened the bag to see she put in Claritin D, not Allegra D. I go back the next day to ask for a refund only to be told by another rude pharmacy clerk I cannot get a refund because of the “type” of medication it is and it’s in a universal computer system that cannot be changed. She continued to tell me how the two medication is the same. Yeah well, if I wanted Claritin D I wouldn’t be trying to return it. Then she turns to my partner to tell him that “he could purchase Allegra D under his name” since I couldn’t make that purchase. Seriously?! So, the very “rules” that has been set in place for pharmacies to stop people from acquiring too much of a controlled medication is being broken by the pharmacy? Take your business elsewhere, this pharmacy cannot be trusted.

The staff in the pharmacy at this location is extremely rude, unhelpful and they lie not only to patients but to doctors. They have decided they get to pick and choose who’s prescriptions they’re filling and what prescriptions they’re going to fill. If they don’t feel like filling one of your prescriptions, they will lie to you and tell you it’s either out of stock or they don’t carry it. The worst part of it is, CVS just closed another Longs in Wailuku that had a very caring staff who KNEW all the patients and never would dream of picking and choosing whose prescriptions they were going to fill. I ran into one of the pharmacists from the location that closed and in spite of the fact she has worked for them for 22 years, she is having to go to a different store every day just to get her hours.Being rude and lying to customers is not a good business model for long term success. You might want to do some customer service training with your pharmacy employees. In spite of your efforts to buy everyone out, You are NOT the only pharmacy in town. I will never willingly shop there again or send anyone else to that store. No aloha there!

The ladies that work at the Wailuku Kehalani Pharmacy are extremely rude. They have bad attitudes and have poor mannerisms.Would not recommend anyone to use this location for pick up.

I am so LIVID! I went to CVS at this location to get my covid test before leaving to go back to Toronto. When I got there, they showed me an envelope with a birthday on it asking if it was correct, I told them that the year was wrong so they gave me new labels to put over the sample container. The day I leave to the airport, I get a call from the lab saying I have to redo my covid test because although the labels on the sample had my correct birthday, CVS had forgot to change it on the form so they weren't the same. I ended up having to pay for a new direct flight to Los Angeles (which was supposed to be a connecting flight to Toronto), I had to take another covid test at the LA airport which led me to miss my flight to Toronto, so I had to pay for a new flight from Los Angeles to Toronto. This caused me to have really bad anxiety, and I lost a lot of money all because CVS made a mistake with correcting my birthday. When I called them, they had no remorse and told me that they cant do anything about it. I am REALLY hoping that they reimburse me for everything they have caused.

Do not get tested here for travel related covid tests. The results came after 75 hours, which made the test results invalid as well as adding a lot of stress and confusion to our travel plans.

Went in to speak to a pharmacist. The pharmacy manager Melanie came out and was very polite. Listened well. Didn't brush me off. Wasn't distracted. I wasn't filling a prescription or buying anything but she still said "thank you" when our conversation was done.

Totally found this place by accident. We were looking for a Long Drugs with out a map and wow we found it! We went in to ask a few questions about Covid testing. The staff behind the cash register was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Nov. 2021 Bought calendars .88 cents, Christmas cards $7.99 get one 50% off, Maui Shrimp Chips $3.79. Great friendly staff throughout the store!
