Growing up in Maui, Ooakas was my go to for fantastic bento boxes. Since that closed since I moved to the mainland, we ventured here instead. Delicious! Thankful to have gotten here in time to grab something before they sold out

Love coming to TJ's for my Asian grocery needs and of course their bentos - they have a deli counter where you can put together your own plate lunch or you can just grab what they have under the heat lamps in front of the deli.I grabbed some Shiso pickled daikon which was sooo yummy! They had the stainless steel chopsticks I was looking for as well - perfect for the humid weather we have in Haiku. They have such a wide variety of sauces and condiments and ingredients for cooking. They even have tabi style socks! If you're looking for a cute lunch bag they have a full wall of them with adorable prints on them.

Nice mid-size Asian market with food corner serving some poke, hot foods, and bento. Good selection of Japanese products and snacks. After 2 or 3 pm seems to be half-price bento? Disappointed by taste - definitely glad only paid half price. Looks better than it tastes. Stick to bentos at Tokyo Central Market (on the mainland).

Omg I love this place. At first when you arrive it didn't seem much but once in and see the strange of goodies with fabulous prices you will be wanting more. They have egg and spam matsubi as well as much malasadas and so much more!!!Value 5/5Atmosphere 4/5Service 5/5Quality 5/519/20

A random warehouse in an industrial area but they have tasty cheap bentos, snacks of all kinds, and they carry this snack called huff n puff that my friend had been asking me to find for a while now. Workers were so friendly and kind. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and even recommended me some snacks to take on the plane. Great customer service, I grabbed a bento and some snacks for gifts. Perfect little stop before the airport.

Good for bentos & come after 1:30 pm a good portion of the bentonite are 1/2 off. The friend machine ball are delicious. All type of Japanese food to cook.

A pretty unexpected place to find some good classic Asian projects and snacks. I was happy to find some dorayaki in there! They also have bentos and have a catering menu that expands their options. Don’t forget to sign up for their rewards card. I’m glad that I did!

Legit Hawaiian style bentos. Each comes with a scoop of Japanese rice, a range if proteins from mackerel to chicken katsu, pickled root veggies, and bite sized shrimp croquette. All at a value of 7-10 bucks...real food for real people at affordable prices. They also have a very extensive selection of Japanese goods from cookware to snacks. And a hot food counter that opens later in the morning. This is a must stop for your trip to Hana. We picked up breakfast and lunch for four at less than what you'd pay for meal for one at Mama's. And the food was WAY BETTER...no lie this is truly Local Food.

TJ's is the type of place that I'll unabashedly give 5 stars for its convenience, affordability, & simplicity. Is it the most gourmet experience? Definitely not, but it's not trying to be! TJ's came in clutch when my fiancé and our group of 5 other friends were hauling a** to the airport to catch our flight out of Maui. We somehow ended up with a friend in the hospital that we had to coordinate pick-up with, and we needed to find a place to get food that we could get QUICKLY without settling for a chain fast food restaurant, you know what I mean? We found TJs in my bookmarks and fell in lurrrve when we walked in. SOOO many bentos, so many choices, and all priced so reasonably. The grab & go aspect here is probably the best part of it all. The food itself is SATISFYING, nothing particularly show-stopping, but it does the job. Overall, I would come back when I find myself in Maui again!

TJ 's is a great place to get Oriental food and products. Their okazu:Chicken Hekka, Misoyaki Butterfish and Nishime are tasty! It's one of Central Maui's best places for Ono Bentos!

Good selection of bentos and some snacks. It is in an industrial district so there are no place to eat. We just ate in our car before heading to the airport. We packed a small one for a snack. Good prices.
