I have had a few encounters with autozone now that haven't been so great.. from poor customer service to them pulling the wrong part.. so sick of it. I have read threw most of the reviews and it's starting to seem like AutoZone is not the place to go anymore

I would give this review 0 stars if that was an option.I felt completely taken advantage with my experience at this AutoZone. I went in to replace both headlights for my 2002 Subaru WRX. I bought your basic headlights and had a gentleman there swap them out for me. That seemed very kind at the time…...After driving for a few days, I decided to go back to purchase some brighter headlights. That seemed more beneficial and cost effective. I needed brighter headlights to see better at night. I had another gentleman take my headlights out that I just bought and replace them with new ones. When he did, he stated that there was a short coming from a wire in my engine that hooked into my headlight on my passenger side. He stated that I would need to order a new wire and that they could both order it and put it in when it came in. I agreed, purchased, and waited for them to call and let me know it was in because they had to order it from another store. So, I waited, mind you, prior to this, my headlights worked just fine.I never received a call back letting me know that my order came in so I reached out to them. It was then communicated to me that it was in so I headed over there. When I got there, I picked up my wiring and asked if someone would please help me. I had another gentleman come help me. (I worked with three different guys there throughout this as far as swapping out headlights in and out of my vehicle). So the guy comes out to my car and tells me that it's too hard for him to get to the part to swap out the wiring and that he would go get someone to help. I had ANOTHER guy come out and that was when I was notified that they don't take any part in anything electrical with vehicles. I explained that that was not what I was told. They apologized and said that I would need to take my car to a shop or get someone else to put the new wires in. Up until this point, my headlights worked just fine. I complied and told the guy I understood and asked to have them please put my headlight back in so I can atleast drive it (at this time, my headlight was taken out from the previous guy trying to swap out the wires that apparently they aren't supposed to touch). He then put my headlight in, and it would not work. He tried a few other things with no avail. I told him that prior to me even coming there, that my headlights worked just fine and it wasn't until after they messed with my vehicle that the headlight completely stopped working. He disagreed. He said that there was nothing they could do at that point. So I was pretty much sol.I asked to speak with a manager. I had a guy come out to speak w me that wasn't in fact a supervisor. I expressed that I asked to speak w a manager. So out walks this guy (he was the manager for the commercial end of things there) and I wish I would've gotten his name. He was a complete jerk to me. He talked to me like I was the most unintelligent human on earth. I think it frustrated him because he knew that they screwed up on this to begin with. He wasn't sure what to say or do other than blame me, and continuously state that this is not AutoZone’s doing. I asked him a few times to please not talk to me the way he was and he continued. He upset me so bad I broke down in the parking lot. I then just got in my car and left.I got my vehicle into a wonderful local body shop here in town and they helped me.I would not recommend this store to anyone especially if you are somewhat knowledgeable and don't get taken advantage of easily. They are snakes and wouldn't at all take accountability for the wrong doing they caused to my vehicle, leaving it in worse shape than it was prior to me going there. The commercial manager that works there shouldn't have a job there anymore. He was extremely rude, cold, and insulted me multiple times. Not ok. These guys sucked all around.

Horrible. The service reps were disrespectful and had no idea what they we're doing. I had trouble getting service to begin with and than the service rep kept having an attitude and instead of assisting me kept going to other customers even when it was my turn to get help. The other service rep saw the rep kept doing it and he intentionally ignored me after rolling his eyes.Horrible experience. I will never be back to AutoZone. Orally helped me instead and were pleasant. They got my business.

You guys need to FIRE Greg dudes a condescending jerk. How can an employee be so rude and unhelpful to your customers and still be employed. I came in bought some wiper blades and another lady came in and was trying to get help and he was making the worst comments to this lady. He had asked her what kind of car she had and she said it was a GMC Yukon to which he then asked if it was a Denali and she said no I don't think so to which he says what you don't know what kind of vehicle you drive. Its your car you should know what kind of car it is that was just strike 1. This poor lady was now humiliated and trying to explain what she was looking for to which Greg responds well I've never ordered that and I can guarantee you we wont have it. He fails to do some research on what the product is and keeps throwing rude remarks to this lady. I had actually stepped in and said her car was an SLT because I could see it from where we were standing. Heck Greg could of literally looked up and seen her car but no so I let them know it was a SLT. I ended up finding the right part she was looking for on my phone so I could just save her from anymore humiliation from Greg. Since it was so hard for Greg to find a Seat Actuator motor he clearly just did not want to help this lady since he kept telling her just to go to GMC since she didnt know what model of car she had. I will not be returning to this specific AutoZone and will make sure no one else returns either if Greg is going to be allowed to treat your customers like that. Lady thanked me when I was outside putting my blades saying thanks for saving me from him he was very rude.

Their customer service skills have gone WAY DOWNHILL as far as I have experienced in the last 3 years..Examples to illustrate my opinion:Whenever I've called to check on availability/order parts for my vehicle, whomever is answering my local Coeur d'Alene AutoZone phone has been unnecessarily rude, pushy, snotty and has on more than one occasion, eventually disconnected, after stating he's going to put me on hold to either transfer me to parts desk 'specialist' agent or look it up to see if its available through their Spokane store .It's been extremely annoying having to be on a call with various degrees of apathetic employees both on the phone or IN PERSON WAITING IN LINE TO PAY FOR PARTS IT TOOK A RIDICULOUS TIME TO ORDER FOR PICK UP!ANYWAYS....Bottom line is if you're looking for that good old fashioned customer service that AutoZone used to have a few years back as well as more than ONE employee at their registers to serve a very long line of exasperated customers,,, better look elsewhere or prepare to wait...theb wait even LONGER in line to pay for your purchases-heck, the last time I went in to their CdA location to get some oil for my car, I ended up in the middle of a humongous customer line and everyone was ticked off since once again, their ONE employee running the register was apparently on the phone and computer AND carrying on a lengthy conversation with some dude in the way back area!!My best suggestion, to save y'all major stress and frustration is: VISIT SPAULDINGS IN THE SPOKANE VALLEY after y'all contact their very polite, pleasant and knowledgeable employees via phone to check on parts availability.OR... Here's a GREAT LOCAL GAL TIP:IF Y'ALL CAN'T GET OVER TO SPAULDINGS, THEN PLEASE GO OVER TO GARWOOD IF Y'ALL CAN DO IT...AFTER CALLING AHEAD TO CHECK FOR YOUR VEHICLES EXTERIOR/INTERIOR NEEDS/PARTS AVAILABLY-PROMISE Y'ALL WILL WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!THEIR PEOPLE AT GARWOOD junkyard ARE VERY HELFUL-IF THEY DON'T HAVE THE PART ON HAND- OR WHATEVER YOU'RE CALLING ABOUT FOR YOUR VEHICLE-THEY'RE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ORDER IT FOR YA, OR THEY EVEN KINDLY WILL DIRECT Y'ALL TO THE RIGHT PLACE!!

Call to check availability of an item, was at the store five minutes later, and they said they didn’t even look and they didn’t have it. Absolute waste your time don’t go to these guys.

Bought a set of tire cables for $188 thanksgiving weekend. Was told I could bring them back in spring if I didn’t use them over the winter. When I took them back in April , they said I had them more than 90 days and wouldn’t refund my money.This is a lying dishonest outfit.

I would give this less stars if it would let me !!! All I needed was some filters for my truck and a couple plug in I found on the shelves there were 5 people working and I stood there for 15 min waiting for someone to even say hi !! I watched the workers all have conversations with each other as well as show each other there phone to laugh all while I stood there this was the worst service I have seen in a long time !
