Love the Flamingo Hotel! Five stars all around - great location only blocks from the (er, sorry) heart of Coeur D'Alene. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable themed rooms (we had the Victorian), and with personalized room parking!
We'll definitely be back whever we're back in CDA. Thanks Flamingo team...keep up the great work!

I didn't expect it to be this fabulous! The room was clean and pristine. The decor was quaint and cozy, very well done. This is the BEST location in Coer D'alene. We walked to the shops and restaurants in a minute. This is just outside of the crowds but right where you want to be. I will only stay here when we go to Coer D'alene. I'm in love!

I wanted to love it more that I did. The location was great. The room decor was very cute and the beds were comfortable. However, I couldn't get over the very musty smell.

One of the rooms has a strong mold smell They are clearly in denial about this. The fact that they let it slide and continue to try and rent it out speaks volumes about their priorities. Would not stay there again.

I love finding independently owned motels across the country. Not your sterile, generic run of the mill hotels, with no one who cares about your stay. Affordably priced, and dog friendly!
I also love how you can pull your car right up to your door, especially when you have a luggage carrier and bike racks on your car. It's really nicely designed with cute chairs in front. I highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this hotel. Great room for the price. Unique. And close to everything. For the price we couldn't ask for anything more.

I must be honest, the only thing this place has going for it, is the location; which was great. What surprises me is the cost of a night here, that alone should warrant a rejuvenation of the motel. The rooms could be brightened, cleaned, carpets removed, new modern furniture added. I booked here because the reviews were really good, better than some of the other hotels in the area. The part that was really hard to get over was the overwhelming musty smell in the room. This could be a really great place, but it needs some new modern touches. I can't even say that the cleanliness was on par because I was plugging in my phone and behind the nightstand was someone else's old vitamins.. In order to change the bedding, your line of sight would have seen that behind the bed stand. Who knows.. It wasn't the biggest deal to me, I threw them out. It did make me question how well they are cleaning these rooms. The front desk help was great though, and again the location was fab. I don't know if I'll be back but it was interesting! Thank you.

Cute place good location and staff is friendly. Room smelled musty but they just need to get rid of carpet and put in purgo wood flooring or linoleum. Only issue is there was road construction. Right out on the main road and they replaced from 9:00 pm till midnight and the entire room was shaking and loud so we could not sleep. Not the motel fault just wish I knew before we booked as we were tired and cranky aftet no sleep. I do like this place and again the staff was great. Other than the musty smell in the room and the road construction was fine. When we got back from dinner at 9 pm the roads blocked off and street crews made us park across the street at zips restaurant so didn't feel good about car parked across the road. It worked out OK as we didn't get towed but worried about it till we could park back at motel the next day. We will stay here again and hopefully next time room will have non carpet flooring and not smell musty. Very nice people though and nice to have a mini fridge and microwave and keurig coffee in the room. Just wish we had known about the road construction outside before and so weird the city does this till midnight.

Except for the bed being more firm than I typically like, our stay was great! We had the Gone Fishing room. The decor was perfect! Location is perfect to access downtown and everyone there was great to work with. We'll definitely stay again!

Very cool little hotel. Each room has a different theme and I stayed in the Emerald Isle room. The AC worked well. Beds were pretty comfortable I have no complaints I would stay there again.
