Im close to 60 years old and had many bank accounts with several different banking institutions, I have had the same credit union for close to 40 years. US bank 2 times for a credit card, and they are the worst institution to deal with.

US Bank has not paid me all the interest that they agreed to pay when I opened the account. I have spoke with several employees, over the phone and in person, I literally wasted several hours of my time and the problem is still not resolved. Most recently the employee at this branch promised me that they would call me back by the end of the day, but I received no call. I'm very frustrated and disappointed with US Bank.

I always get fast friendly service and I'm always greeted with a smile. I have never had a bad experience at any of the US Bank branches in my area.

I’ve been sent all over the place to cash a check…RidiculousTold to call ahead and order cash for the check, and then told that they don’t do that for non customers even if you have a check from their bank.

I have had a terrible customer service experience with US Bank home mortgage. I have only worked with this bank for about two year as it was the bank selected for me when I bought my new home. A simple error had been made where I accidentally left 52 cents off my payment for several months. Once I realized the error I called them and spent hours on the phone trying to resolve two late fees that had accrued of $83 each, as well as the error US bank had made of taking my entire June payment and putting towards principle because I had sent it in early. I have sent my mortgage payment in a week early for 20 + years with no issue. After hours of talking through the details and talking to a manger they agreed to remove the late fees and I paid the owed amount of $1.04 (.52 x 2). I let them know on this call that I had already sent the next payment (July) via my bill pay and did not have the .52 on there as I wasn't aware of the issue at the time. I offered to pay the .52 on the call to avoid any issue for the next month and was told I could not pay it until it was past due and was assured no late fee would be added. I called the next month as suggested and was told I had another late fee of $82. I explained all of the above and was told they would not be taking off the late fee. I have never paid a late payment on any mortgage in my life and was told to just leave the late payment on my account. Customer service at this bank is terrible and makes no sense at all why they would take my entire payment and put it to wards principle when I'm due for a monthly payment, then turn around and bill me as if I have not paid and give eme a late fee. I will be banking elsewhere and will make sure every person I know never banks with US bank

It would be helpful if U S Bank would start to open some of their lobbies for customer service. The lines at the drive through are extremely long.!
