Went in to look at a AT4x on 4/20/24 and they set us up with Quinn. told him what we wanted and took us over to his sales desk. Apparently he was working with a different customer and abandoned them and he says I rather he you instead. not professional. He finds us a couple options to look at and says he will go get the vehicle and bring it up so we can test drive it. we waited 30 minutes just for him to show up where we are with no vehicle as it was sold. we left I will spend my money somewhere else that is a professional and don't leave a potential customer hanging for 30 waiting for him to return

As others have posted- do NOT give them a deposit, regardless of what they say to you or promise you. Their "fully refundable" has conditions with it which they don't tell you up front, and in all reality is most certainly illegal. I did an on-line search only for potential used vehicles, and was told to provide a deposit to hold the vehicle I had submitted a question about. After determining the vehicle would not meet my needs (totally on-line - sight unseen), they refused to refund the charge they made to my credit card. I made no purchase (vehicle, service or other), I didn't sign anything. No exchange of service or product occurred. I have made contact with them 4 times by phone and with a very detailed email sent directly to the General Manager. No one has returned my calls or emails and the refund has not been issued. The person who responded to my requests for information on-line was sales person, Joshua. The General Manager is Jake Crawford. This kind of shady, underhanded behavior speaks to lack of integrity and an overall disrespect for potential customers.

We purchased a new 2024 Chevrolet 2500 HD from Dave Smith in January. The salesman Leonard was great to work with and the process was hassle free. We put a deposit down in late October and they stuck to everything we agreed on, no bait and switch, no wrong color, upsell attempts, etc. They added what I asked for and it was perfect. After a simple hour and a half we were on the road home to Western Washington. I highly recommend Dave Smith Motors. John

Not worth it. Don't waste your time. Anthony Chillson is a crook. I put a deposit down on a truck over the weekend. Anthony told me it was fully refundable and it would be bad business if they didn't refund. I received a call on Monday morning from Anthony telling me he couldn't sell me the truck due to a recall so I found a truck elsewhere. When I called back to let him know that's what I had done he pouted. I asked for the refund and we ended the conversation. Two months later after countless ignored phone calls email and texts I still have no refund. Absolutely bad business and I'll be letting everyone know.

Bought extended warranty for n ew Arcadia but when I went to use it Dave Smith mechanic said the warranty wasn't any good. Very disappointing

Dave Smith cheated us by charging us for tinting that they did not do, they charged us for cleaning the vehicle which they did not do, and lastly, they did not pay for our hotel, like they promised to do. We have purchased three brand new vehicles from them and will never ever go back. Every chance I get to tell someone about their treatment I do.

Dave Smith Motors fails to honor the warranty. Regrettably, after purchasing a car with a warranty, the engine malfunctioned a mere eight months later. To my utmost surprise, the service department held onto my car for an astonishing two months without even initiating a claim with the warranty company. And to compound matters, they persisted in asserting that the necessary repairs would not be covered by the warranty, without even bothering to file the claim. In my quest for assistance, I reached out to the General Manager regarding the warranty and the service department. Unfortunately, he dismissively brushed off the matter, stating that it was not his concern since the warranty was provided by a third-party company. Hey Paul Nadler, I can't believe you think the warranty sold by Dave Smith Motor is not your problem. Seriously? Take a minute and think about the moral responsibility here. It's about time you step up and offer your clients a warranty that actually does what it's supposed to do.

I wasn't looking forward to looking for a new used vehicle. Some past experiences with dealership have been just plain annoying. I'm an older single woman, enough said. My salesperson, Fulton, treated me with respect, never talking to me as if I didn't know what was under the hood. He found me what I wanted, then kept me in the loop as they went through safety checks, new tires, etc. They had just gotten it in and it must have been a repo because it was such a mess on the inside, I didn't want to test drive it til it was detailed. Their detail department is excellent. Another perk, it didn't take hours and hours to seal the deal once I said I wanted it. I don't hate car shopping anymore!

I bought two cars here. Paid fair price for a really nice Cadillac. Wasn't exactly what I wanted however and probably got the young man demoted as I didn't know until deal was done and I got home and couldn't find the HUD. Still was very satisfied but long process. Next bought a Rubicon paid for it and had to wait for delivery. That was a ridiculous ordeal but they made it right. It has been a learning process with them but I don't think anyone can beat them on price and overall inventory. They even do aftermarket 4x4 right on site!

Bait and switch. Put a deposit down for a basic work truck that needed to be an 8' bed, nothing fancy. We thought this was turning into an easy process by doing majority of work via phone as we live in Montana. The truck was in transit at the time. Made the drive to Idaho only to find out it was a 6' bed. We were stuck and needed a truck so we bought it. When signing the contract later I noticed two items added as accessories that were never discussed and should have been part of the original selling price, sealant for the finish and the anti theft device. Truck runs fine but we felt dupped. What is ridiculous is then being told by salesman, and I could hear others on the phones with clients, that you have to complete a survey and give them all top ratings or the salesman and the dealer loose 300k. What a guilt trip. Never did get the survey.
