I love Fred Meyer, I mean common they were the only "General Store" in Idaho until Walmart (which was looked at as an oddity. It was late 1999 or 1998 when Walmart came to Boise. Fred Meyer has always had quality products, household, housewares, furniture, decor, clothing, intimates, fantastic produce, meat, deli, and ahead of all the little pop ups when it comes to the new trend in consumer food products "vegan", "organic", "gluten free" and they continue to grow and remain the front runner. Their prices were beet by Walmart before Covid if one does not utilize the reward system, ads, coupons; both electronic and paper. I save more and get better products from a Northwest local supply chain supporter with amazing products and service. You have to utilize your rewards and don't miss the Founders sale. We actually on vacation went to the first Kroger (and still the corporate store) in Oregon. It's multi level and awesome. I love FM. Two of three of my children work for the company. They started while in high school. They are great employers as well.

I went to the pharmacy on Fairview and Locust Grove as I do every month and when I showed my alternate ID (which I've used there several times already) the clerk didn't want to take it because it wasn't easy enough for her to process. Most of the clerks are pretty good about this, but the one I got today was a bit bossy, even going as far as advising me how to manage my payment cards online, though I didn't ask her for any advice. Not good in a customer service situation. She seemed to be having a bad Monday and to need someone to take that out on. Look's like it's time to take my business somewhere else.

I have gone to this Fred Meyer Jewelers for years to shop for birthdays, engagements, and just for fun. I've always had a generally good experience and the staff always seemed kind and helpful. Unfortunately, when I went in most recently, I needed my wedding ring reshaped and the prongs on the stone tightened. The woman helping me looked at the ring for maybe 10 seconds and said that it would cost $400 to reshape the band, and $30 to replace each prong. They said it could not be done in store, but would need to be outsourced to their goldsmith to reshape the band and replace the prongs. I was dumbfounded and surprised because that price is not only ridiculous, but more than the original cost of my ring! I ended up leaving and going to a different jeweler in the area where they immediately looked at the ring and said that the band can be tapped out safely in house (the stones on the side are recessed in and not prongs, so they wouldn't fly off if tapped with the mallet) and that the prongs only needed to be tightened and not replaced. They told me that what Fred Meyer Jewelers was charging is ridiculous for the actual damage and is price gouging customers who don't know anything about jewelery. I am beyond disappointed and disgusted in how this situation was handled and won't be shopping here anymore. I highly value honesty and transparency in services and I feel like they were trying to pull the wool over my eyes with this.

First, I really love Fred Meyer (FM) stores as a whole so this review is limited to the donut operation only. Bakery is great overall but donuts severely suffering and are a waste of time and resources if they're not going to do it right. I have tried FM every since I moved here and have been pleasantly surprised, by both product and service. GREAT store and great people. However, the donuts never turn out right. They're stale, even when they come out fresh. It seems like they prepare these the day before in every instance. They have a brittle and hard texture with marginal flavor. Any donut, any time. I would recommend Ridley's in Star. They have the BEST donuts!

I was in dire straights trying to figure out how to get photos from my phone and printed for an upcoming event. I have to commend Reggie, Erin, and Devin for their patience and teamwork to get my pictures printed. I would highly recommend the Eagle Island Fred Meyer electronics department. They are professional, friendly, a truly customer service oriented.

I can't believe that i always have a problem when i come to this store... this particular visit just like several others i was checking out and always notice the clipped digital deals do not apply correctly and you have to call someone over to adjust it. Starting to wonder if they just hope you don't notice. Also i visited Starbucks inside Fred Meyer and the worker named jack was so rude. I started to ask him if they had a particular cup and he cut me right off and said what is out is what i have... no manners... let the lady finish her sentence... I'm gonna start shopping somewhere else... the pharmacy sucks here too..

Garbage customer service. Me and my wife drove 45min to pick up her ring (which has had to be repaired 5 times since Fred Myers jewlers resized the ring)and when we arrived we asked for the ring. The salesman refused to let us pick it up because my wife did not bring her ID card. I bought the ring and offered up my ID which they refused to look up the purchaser. The only thing that's worse than their customer service is their product.

Went in to get a balloon for my grandson who had surgery. Had to go find someone to help. Finally found three people at the customer service area showing each other their phones. I asked for help and was told someone would be there to help me. Walked back over only to have the rudest person tell me they did not have the staff to blow up a balloon and to go someplace else. I called to talk to a manager only to be met with a recording that they do not take calls. Went to the Eagle Albertsons and had two people offer to help right away. We shop every week at this store but will not darker their doorstep again.

The pharmacy is way understaffed. Always a long line . Plan at least a half hour wait.

I have never been so disgusted with someone's behavior. My 6 year daughter and I were shopping for her baby sister and needed help so a very nice young lady was helping us when her coworker came up and introrupted me to yell at this young girl and was using VERY foul words. I asked her to not talk like that infront of my daughter and she LITERALLY told me that as a customer I have no say in how she treats her employees. I made a complaint and found out her name is Char and I truly hope that she gets in some sort of trouble because that was not ok and I will not be coming back. Disgusting

Nice helpful staff. Even with short staffing and Covid, their staff is doing everything they can to keep smiles on their faces, and shelves as stocked as possible. If you need something, they'll help you or point you to someone who can help.
