HORRIBLE experience! I paid $50 PLUS A TIP for a butterfly cut … that the stylist said she knew how to do and then completly cut straight across and just chopped it!!!!! She cut 9 inches off with NO layers at ALL and burnt my head in the process!!! Do not go here! They are horrible ?refused a refund and refused a different stylist to do my hair

I came in Saturday for a haircut. I was very clear about what I wanted. The lady who cut my hair obviously doesn't know how to layer hair. When you pay $45 for a haircut it should be done properly, not the chopped up mess I received. Now I have to pay someone else to clean it up.

Takkiah has gone above and beyond with Olaplex treatments getting my hair in a good place after having cancer twice. Very appreciative to her for getting my hair so healthy. I really liked the fact that she asked questions about how I took care of my hair over the years so she could come up with the best plan for me. Communication skills in hair styling is essential. Hair stylist insisted that to make hair shiny with semi -permanent color requires me the extra purchase if glossing. I told her in 10 years I never had to purchase glossing for the results. With 3 years of experience she insisted that everyone who had EVER colored my hair was inexperienced (unlike) her. Argue. Argue. Argue. Got her manager Lindsay who told me that I was getting free services for years. She wouldn’t listen. I didn’t yell or curse but disputing costs offended them, Walked in somewhere else and purchased semi perm color and got the results I always did. No cost for glossing . Manager needs training on listening and customer recovery. It was simply miscommunication.

This is more toward JCP Salon. I understand they have people who are just starting and learning we all gotta start somewhere, HOWEVER, my son who has been growing his hair out since he was born (7 years) wanted to keep his hair on his crown long and shave the sides and back. He wanted two french braids for the rest of his hair. It is a cool style. I asked and explained what I wanted and I even showed the stylist a couple photos. She parted his hair very horrible there was not enough support from those clips she had in his hair and messed up his hair so bad! He had patches and chunks of hair still it looked like a hack job. She also took the clippers to my son HAIRLINE BY HIS TEMPLE and instead of going from bottom to top and pulling away LIKE YOURE SUPPOSE TO, she took her clippers and went sideways creating a bald spot on the front of his hairline. I did NOT see this until we got home! she used his long hair to cover it up and proceeded to tell me I cannot braid hair. You're a stylist that is something so simple you should figure out. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE... My daughter was with another stylist and she talked a big game as if she knew what she was doing. Simple trim for my daughter and I checked her hair also when we got home and it is soooo uneven it is not funny! My children have long hair and have been growing their hair. What I asked for was not very difficult but very simple. These two stylists need to re-train and return to wherever they went to school and redo their courses. My kids were not moving. They have gotten their haircuts before but because of this pandemic, our salon shut down. I called their manager and explained to her how her "stylists" messed up simple cuts and she asked us to come back in so they can fix it. I simply told her NO I DONT WANT THEM TO FIX IT I WANT SOMEONE ELSE WITH MORE EXPERIENCE. I also asked her HOW DO YOU FIX A BALD SPOT? And she did not respond. I had an appointment made for 11AM the next day with a "master" stylist and this manager called me at 10AM to tell me the stylist was out sick and rescheduled me for 12PM. Then 2 minutes later she called back again and said you know what this stylist is out sick too. At this point I said forget it and hung up. Horrible service and customer service. I have before and after photos of my children. I had to go home and fix their hair as best as I could. My son was so upset and said he regret it and my daughter was upset as well we had to go a bit shorter to fix it.

This is specifically for the Photography side- Huge shout out to Kenny and Chanielle who were our photographers today. My 3-year old son was in a particular mood and really didn't want to take any pictures. No matter how hard we tried, he wouldn't stop crying. Kenny suggested that we take a break and come back later. We did...and stopped by the toy aisle on the way. Even though Buzz Lightyear ending up making an appearance in our pictures, my son came back happy and laughing at Chanielle's silly antics. We really appreciate their patience and understanding in a frustrating situation, it really makes all of the difference in an experience like this! thank you!

I think it's rediculous that they open at 11;00am on a Sunday. I think they lose a great deal of business opening that late. It's it because it's a Sunday? Who cares!!! Open at 10:00, pathetic
