Hillary has been grooming our Yorkie since he was a baby; approximately 6 years now. She definitely does an excellent job. We change his "look" occasionally and have always been pleased with her expertise.

The employee who helped us with the female betas and octo was very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us a lot of helpful information. The cashier who checked us out was also full of information on starting a female beta sorority and shared her experiences with her own sorority. You can tell that the employees really care about their customers.

I am so unbelievably mad at this store. I've had several problems when it came to both customer service and their products. Number one) i brought a bearded dragon there a month ago, which she ended up having tons of problems. i had the right set up for her, uvb, temperature, etc, and she was still refusing to eat and drink water. i returned her the first time, and they told me that she had a deficiency. i ended up spending 60$ on a new uvb set up for her, which only helped for a day then she ended up having problems again. the second time i returned her, they tried to say that the temperature in her tank was "too low" but i had temperatures at that time and each time it was 100 degrees, and when i would put it higher or lower she would all the sudden seize. they just blamed me, and then put the return charge onto a gift card. she ended up passing away in there and they didn't call to inform me until 3 days later. then they told me since they put my money onto a gift card, they couldn't refund the money back into my debit card. i called the customer support, they told me the store should be able to do something about it. i called the store and they proceeded to tell me "well since you chose to put it onto a gift card, we cannot give back the money" even though i didn't agree, the lady there put it back onto there. Number two) i've had several problems with their bug quality. after the bearded dragon incident, i didn't t want to continue to support their shitty business. but i also don't want the card to go to waste. it was 52$ that was on there. so i ended up purchasing bugs for my gecko, which guess what? they were all dead. i brought a 100 pack of mealworms for them all to be dead. and i already know i cannot get the money back cause i used the gift card. i've also brought their roaches, which they all end up dying right when i get home. along with their crickets. the only bug i can actually purchase is their super worms. i am unbelievably pissed at this store. i've been struggling with money for months now and 52$ helps more than 0$. they abuse their animals, sell sick animals, do not warn the owners, then they gaslight the owners when they die and blame it onto them instead of actually taking the correct steps to save the animal and warn the person of the risks. then they rob the money and i am now forced to continue to support their store.

My experience with you guys was good but not fully. I wait for someone to help me for like 10 minutes or alittle more. No one never came. Even after I asked the person in the cashier.So I had to ask someone for help.But once they helped me it was a good experience. I have a disability and I can't get alot of stuff on the top shelf. But the girl that help me was very nice & Patient on explaining everything to me.

Took my 2 boys there for the Veterinarian cause they needed rabies shots....The Veterinarian and her 2 assistance were nice and knowledgeable!!!!!...plus I liked the $80 price for both rather than the nearly $75 each from other Veterinarians...Had a great experience.

Apparently petco uses doordash drivers who are challenged when it comes to technology. Ordered a gate ro be delivered. First time says delivered to address on 14th Ave north rather than 14th Ave South. They re did the order. New order delivered to 14th Ave north again. Now refusing to cancel order since doordash map clearly shows wrong door and wrong place on what looks like Google maps.If I could give 0 stars I would. I asked them to cancel the order and I would just pick it up at the store since apparently the driver can't tell north from south.Terrible service. While I don't blame them for doordash messing up they could at least look at the evidenceNever going there again

AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEIR SALTWATER TANKS… Alot of dead fish in the tanks. I bought a few saltwater crabs from this location. I checked the water from Petco when I was acclimating and introducing the new invertebrates to my aquarium. The salinity was super low. One of the more expensive crabs died. Even though the website says that they offer refunds on aquatic life, they do not refund saltwater life. One of their Boise staff mentioned that their saltwater life is “pulled from the reef” and insinuated that I should’ve just expected them to be extra sensitive to any changes. Lesson learned. Only buy saltwater life from the specialty shops (that source from breeders that use captive bred aquatics) and avoid buying anything living from Petco.To add. A couple of the Boise and Nampa staff were argumentative when I brought up the issues with salinity and the return policy that is printed on the back of the receipt and the website.

horrible customer service Denied me online savings discounts products, encouraging me I didnt need to use the online discount due to "already saving enough" because of my account, after asking I wanted my money off due to discounts on petco websites she proceeded to say i didn't need to use it, not ensuring that it isn't against their policies, because it isn't . Wouldn't come here unless you like being denied services that should be provided

Today I went to Petco(08/23/23 4:20-4:30) and I got a bed that it said it was 20 dollars. When I got to the cashier and she scanned it and it showed the wrong price. I tried to ask about it and she interrupted me with “phone number?” And I thought she didn’t hear me so I tried to ask her again and she just goes “phone number? Phone number?” And when I give it to her she just rolled her eyes and just point to the computer really sassy. I work in the customer service industry and she could have easily said” I need your phone number to reduce the price”. Super sassy and unprofessional.
