it is a very big hassle to close my account. I tried to close it by phone and have them send me a check for the balance. The biggest check they will send by mail is $500. I tried closing it online to no avail. I called a local branch to see if I could close it in person. The local branch said that they would get back to me via phone before I come in to close it personally. It’s been an hour and I have not yet heard from them. It’s my money and they r making me jump thru hoops to get what’s mine.Ooh, they just called me back and said I needed my drivers license (I have) and a social security card which I don’t have in order to close the account. I am now awaiting another call from them. They r as bad as Comcast customer service and that says it all. Wish me luck.

I've dealt with a number of employees at this branch. Sadly it's a really bad branch and I plan on going to another. Everyone is very friendly, but professionally they are so slow at their job and seem very hesitant at the tasks at hand. I write my account number on the back of my check and 1) they still ask which account and 2) sometimes deposit it in a different account (luckily it's mine). I have worked with Max the branch manager, Harshida the teller, and Harshy who ultimately retired. There was a large, Caucasian male that I thought was a shift manager/supervisor who did not know how to do anything, had to repeatedly ask me which account to make the deposit, and finally had Harshida do it all. There's another lady who works later in the day who is very friendly and fast (she's the only one I'd like to genuinely compliment, unfortunately I don't know her name). Gary, seems very insecure with his job and lacks the confidence to tell me how things generally work while going through standard paperwork (something he should be comfortable with).

Apparently people only write negative reviews on here which is a shame. I have had the best experience with this bank. They are friendly, personable and go above and beyond to help you out. They are exactly what you would expect from a local neighborhood bank.

The bank is only a minute away from my house, but after reading so many bad reviews, I decided to visit the Buffalo Grove branch instead. Hence, I am rating the Arlington Hts. branch neutral - 3/5 stars.

Horrible service from reps overs phone and are misleading to get your business. Make promises on things they can't do. Avoid them

Worse bank I've ever delt with. Everyone has an attitude all the time. They don't know how to do there job correctly always calling corporate because they don't know how to do there job. Worse experience I've ever had with a bank. The location is very small and others can hear your business while you talk with a banker. Please stay away from this bank.
