“Our beloved boy Bert was near the end. We didn't want to say goodbye. But the wonderful people at EVCC helped him make his final transition and allowed us to say goodbye in a loving peaceful manner. Believe me, we tried everything to keep him here with us, but I am so happy we took Bert to their office in Highland, In as you could see the care and attention, they gave him in his final moments. It allowed us to come to terms that we were losing a member of our family in a very peaceful way. And although we are still grieving, we nave comfort. Having his paw print was also something special to both of us. It felt like he was still with us. Thank you”

When Dr. Walsh was working there, he sent a referral to Purdue Veterinarian Hospital for my dog and need of surgery, I never asked him, but he did it anyway, knowking my dog needed the surgery asap.
Yesterday,I needed more antibiotics for my two dogs with kennel cough, not a problem! Very helpful office and staff.

“My Chewy has been going to the same vet for 11 years. So when I moved here from out of state, the thought of finding a new vet for him was terrifying. I was very pleased with Deer Run and the staff. And so was Chewy. He didn't tremble at all. And it was obvious he knew he was in good hands. Everyone was sweet and friendly. I can't say enough great things about our experience. Dr Van Winkle was calm and friendly and great with my "baby." We both left very happy.”

“Our vet, Dr. John Shudell is fabulous. Spends time with you, listens to any concerns or questions. He's easy to talk too. Answers everything completely. He worked for the humane society for years and has a wide range of experience with animals and their health issues. When applicable, he offers lower cost, practical solutions, rather than jumping straight to the expensive alternatives. Our dog had tartar on her teeth and he recommended an over the counter teeth cleasing gel to eliminate it, rather than jumping straight to dental cleaning surgery, which other vets in the past have done. It's easier on the dog and less expensive, to hopefully avoid the need for surgery. Always recommends what's best for your pet. His love for animals shows in his handling of your pets and their response to him. After our vet retired, we were so lucky to have found him. Would definitely recommend him for the best care for your pets. We've been going here since they opened and couldn't be happier.”

“EDIT: unfortunately quality of service at this location has gone downhill. I came to this location, for help with my puppy who was severely ill. She was practically dying. This vet gave sailene, and an antibiotic and sent me on my way, without a second thought. She ended up passing away. Another puppy, seemed to be having the same issue. I took the puppy to a vet hospital in Elk Grove Village, where it was determined that puppies simply needed to have dewormers from 2weeks+, which this vet never explained. Also, they saved the puppy's life. As for this Saul Village location, it's feasible simply for affordable yearly visits for shots. However, I WOULD NOT recommend this location for more serious issues.
Animal Medical center is honestly the greatest location. Although they are very understaffed, I love the vet there. She is super honest and affordable. Rabies shots are also very affordable. The staff there is very friendly as well.”
“All parties evolved were wonderful. They made my dog as comfortable as possible. DR. Was very concerned about pain for Luna . Dr. Told me I could put a band to hold Lunas ears, I discovered a t-shirt sleeve worked wonderfully. Nice and cheap.”

I had taken my older dog Ginger to South Loop Vet Med. Receiving a diagnosis and quote for the Aural Hematoma that had formed on her right ear, it appeared a bit 'light'. I opted to retreat and get a 2nd opinion.
I called Dr. Davis in exaperation after calls to several other vets. She was direct, to the point, and patient, advising a treatment program. Unlike the ER intent to simply 'triage' (bandaid) the situation, she outlined a pre and post procedures that would commence.
Two days later, having made an appointment, everything went exactly as she indicated. Now, three days after the procedure and after care, am elated to find Ginger better off having been in her care.
Ginger, and my 2yr old Staffordshire Terrier, Duncan, will definitely continue as her patients. Hands down!”

“They are pricier and less visually appealing than other locations. The front desk lady is straight forward and too direct for some people's taste..... BUT they do love and care for our furbabies. They check prices with customer before proceeding, offering less expensive, DYI options, if needed, and the Doctor Carpenter is thorough and kind with people and pets alike.”
“I have 4 big dogs and I take them here every year for their shots and check up. There’s been multiple times my dogs have had to come in for other reasons and had to have surgeries done, each surgery has been a big success. This vet office is very welcoming and make me and the dogs feel like family. Below is a before and after picture of the biggest surgery one of my dogs had to go thru after having his face ripped open getting in a dog fight. The doctor did a great job!”

“I have anxiety about bringing my Labrador to the vet because he gets nervous and reactive. Our previous vet was rude and dismissive, so I tried crossroads and I’ve been there twice with him so far. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff were so incredibly patient and kind. I’ve seen both Dr. A and Dr. Tyler and both of them were just fantastic. The vet tech staff were wonderful as well. I’m just so impressed with the compassionate care we received. I find the pricing to be fair as well.”

When I pull up, he gets to going crazy because he knows he’s about to get a bath, but when he goes in the room, he knows something is going on the last visit, Rex needed need his shots for everything even a clear up his skin condition.
