Went into the Ulta salon for a bang trim today and instead of giving me a trim the lady cut off way more than I asked for. I went in with curtain bangs and just wanted to take 1 or 2 cm off because they were getting a little too long, but when I walked out she ended up taking off 3-4 inches and I have straight across bangs no matter how I style it. While I understand I should have said something, it would have been impossible to because she just started cutting big chunks off before I could say that I wanted less cut. Literally hate the cut that I got, but just wanted to warn anyone that might be going in for a bang trim.

Heads up, Ulta no longer does color matches for foundation makeup.This is New, in the past they have always color matched me since my shade changes with the seasons. But I came in this morning and the staff directly told me the front Northeast side of the store can’t be color matched. That whole area has L’Oréal, Nyx, Mac, and many other brands. So if you use these brands, or want a color match, you might want to go to Sephora in the Champaign mall instead.

Came here for a bleach/color treatment and Tobi was great as always. Super personable and skilled in what he does. Will definitely recommend!

I came in today and was harassed by the young lady at the counter to sign up for rewards. I then proceeded to let her know I was not interested and she tried to give my points away to other customers. At this point, I was visibility irritated because I just wanted to get my product and leave. She didn't even wish me a good day. I will be buying hair products on Amazon in the future.

I order online usually. I would prefer not to have to go in but their curbside pickup is not clear or easy to use. So I usually end up doing in store pickup. Their saving grace is, that is very easy to use, right at the front of the store and always someone to help you

Went in to buy conditioner. The cashier lady wouldn’t look at or talk to me but instead looked at and spoke to my girlfriend as if she was doing the transaction despite it being my product and purchase. She also asked another customer for their phone number so they could get points for my purchase

I had to walk around the store twice to find an associate for assistance. Hopefully, additional assistants will be available for holidays.

Jacob did my engagement shoot makeup and he was BRILLIANT. Oh my gosh he was so nice. I ran a little late to my appt and he was so gracious. Such a great and easy to talk to person. Thank you so much Jacob! You made me feel so beautiful!

Go see Morgan!! She’s packed full of knowledge and is genuinely there to help you. She spent a significant amount of time helping me, WHILE handling several other things and did it all.. cool, calm, collected and full of grace. She never once made me feel like I was a bother. Thank you so much Morgan!!

Great experience! I didn't know that they have men's cologne. Spent about a half hour sniffing testers of several scents. Young lady helping me was patient and quite the people person. And the one who checked me out was quite pleasant and has a great sense of humor. Got me some Armani Code to add to my collection. I thought this place was strictly chickly. I'll be back!
