Customer service is not nonexistent even if you were to dial them multiple times. An arrogant Chinese manager finally picked up and did nothing to solve our issues with the expired products we purchased the day before. Plain rude, arrogant, and defensive. Ironically this mainlander with decent English even offered to listen and still refused to help! Don't waste your time with this self-centered trash bin. Hopefully, this place goes under, and other supermarkets drown out their successful operations. There are better alternatives like H-mart with better options.

The place illegally sells expired food, the cashier also over-charges you with items you didn't buy, she will also gives you an attitude and curses you in her language when you found this out and would like her to correct to the actual price. Worst place ever. I wish someone report this place.

I love shopping at this store but I wish the workers could be of more help to nonchinese speakers and I wish the cashers would acknowledge those outside of the Chinese culture as they do the Chinese. Money only has two colors and the credit card a chip , they have power and nomatter where you shop the spender deserve respect .

This is a great little supermarket for some quick pickup just on the edge of Chicago Chinatown. We stopped here for some snacks after dim sum before we pick up our car in the parking lot across the street. It is very convenient.

Still ok but seems to be suffering a bit from local competition that moved in a few years back. Cashiers not as friendly or capable as before. Some quality of fresh goods and BBQ meat has become good, then next time not as good.

I love finding these places to get a little taste of cultural immersion. It's crowded, disorganized, a little smelly, and not English friendly, but these are the reasons that I thought it was great. They had some rare and unique ingredients such as the whole turtle and fresh alligator, and a bunch of swimming seafood. I just picked up some nice bbq chashu pork and whole (I mean whole from beak to toes) chicken. Worth a little visit!

Authentic Chinese grocer with plenty of convenient parking options. One standout is their produce; the freshness is exceptional and the flavors are much more close to “garden grown” than typical Kroger, Mariano’s, Jewel and the like. I recommend this for anyone looking to create some authentic Chinese and other Asian meals at home.

Great prices. Fresh produce section usually well stocked. But dried herbs, mushrooms, Beans and rice are in wide selection, which is why I normally visit

Pros: 3 stores in the Chicago Chinatown area, one on the northside, two in the suburb (Aurora and Westmont) ,and two in Ohio and one in Michigan. There is a table for bakery goods, ham and egg, bbq pork buns, pasteries, don tot, hom sui kok, cheong funn, tofu with sugar liquid, sauces, rice, prepared meats( bbq pork, roast pork, chicken etc) seafood, noodles, and snacks.Cons: some cashiers speak English, parking can get crazy, and crowds.

I stopped in Chinatown on my way back from the south side because I knew I'd find the rice noodles and bok choi I needed for a new recipe without issue. Sometimes when I'm trying to find "international" ingredients at Mariano's or something it's hit or miss.I found what I needed here and it was a fairly quick trip--I don't think I was in store more than 20 minutes. The store is small, and very very crowded. Aisles are about as wide as a single person facing forward. This isn't a place where you're going to get a shopping cart down an aisle. The prices are good. I got a head of Napa cabbage for 99 cents per pound, and when I go to my neighborhood store it's usually closer to $3-4 or more per pound. Since it was such a steal I added hot and sour soup to my menu for the week. There's a parking lot at this store. It's one way, and you must enter from Archer. DO NOT enter the wrong way or you won't be able to park--the spaces are angled and there's not enough space between the building and the fencing to turn yourself around. There are only about ten parking spaces here so I'm sure it gets filled pretty quick, but when I was here I was the only car parked here. There's street parking which can be pretty chancy, but maybe I'm just speaking from the perspective of someone who was here on a busy Sunday in Chinatown.
