Tried calling and making a deal on a Tahoe they have over the phone (I’m 2 hours away from them) and told them we are ready to buy willing to put a deposit down and get financing started before we arrive. Explained we have 2 young kids that we don’t want to have to try and keep entertained while trying to make a deal and we also just don’t want to sit at a dealership for hours (we value our time off work). The sales manager refused to talk price or deal with us until we was there in person and acted offended that we asked for $713 off a vehicle. I talked to Gene awhile back and looked forwards to trying to deal with them after our conversation but unfortunately he was on vacation not saying the sales guy we talked to was bad but definitely didn’t seem like he wanted to deal over the phone like his manager only thing he was worried about is when I could be there. They should definitely work on valuing the customers time especially ones that are willing to travel 2 hours one way to buy a vehicle. We’ve done 3 car deals over the phone before showing up and signing paperwork and each dealership was great to work with while doing that Dan Hecht should maybe consider that.

The folks at Dan Hecht were very good at helping us out of a tough situation. Our car broke down on the interstate. We had our car towed to Dan Hecht Chevrolet. The service manager stayed late to make sure we were comfortable and properly taken care of. We also rented a car right there at the dealership. We definitely were well pleased with the service we received at Dan Hecht.
