I brought my car in because of a noise it has been making, and little did I know my wheels were basically worn out and not good to be driving around..After giving me an estimate, Javier encouraged me to do my own research, which I really appreciated. I came back for the service a few minutes later, and I’m so grateful for Javier..he took the time to explain everything in detail and helped me understand exactly what was going on with my car. I’ve never experienced someone in this industry so patient and determined to make sure I had all the information I needed. Also the team that was with him during my car service are amazing. Very attentive and hard working. I totally recommend this place!

These guys are amazing. From the moment I entered the shop until i took the car, everything was flawless. The service was great, prices very reasonable and they even fixed something that two other repair shops told me that it cant be fixed unless I leave the car overnight for them to be able to fix it since it was supposedly that complicated. It took these guys here 45 minutes to fix it.
And there was nobody pushing me to repair it. I told them about the problem and they just checked it out and told me that they will fix it in less than an hour if i want it fixed today. Obviously, the price they quoted was much lower because the other two shops included extra $ for working hours. In any case, if you live near Elgin, just go and see these guys. I was originally helped by Joe and he was really awesome but i believe that any other manager or advisor would take a great care of you. And check this out. He asked me if i knew about an online promotion they had. Of course I didn’t and he said he will include it for me anyways and saved me some extra $. If you have car trouble, go and see these guys. Really. Don't be crazy. Go see these guys.

Martin Auto strives to be the best and I believe they achieved it every time. From the first phone call for help my car is possessed, diagnosing the problem, to returning the car in pristine condition, (like it just came off the showroom floor). Javier was awesome to work with. They are not only very knowledgeable but they apply that knowledge in the most efficient way possible. I feel I have peace of mind knowing my 2014 car is running in the best condition and I am safe on the road. Thank you so much for making this happen.

Wanted to like this shop. They’re polite on the phone and willing to pay for your Ubers back-and-forth from their shop. Courteous and convenient. Unfortunately, they are dishonest with their estimates and quotes and either don’t understand how to have an estimate reflect the work done, Or something more nefarious, Purposely quoting you for work that doesn’t need to be done, & they hope you’ll pay for it. The person answering the phone is not a mechanic and doesn’t understand the quotes, but believes it’s wise to give advice on how to fix the vehicle. I was told the shop had lifted multiple trucks, knew how to do it and understood it, I will take them at their word. If they’re knowledgeable on this and understand it, then the mechanics quoted this work for me dishonestly. A 2inch block that lifts the rear end of the truck does not require the mechanic at any point to REMOVE the LEAF SPRINGS from the truck. It doesn’t even make sense if you understand truck suspension. If you’re going to be dishonest about your work try a little harder. What a joke.
They have responded and taken no accountability. Again, a bald faced lie. The leaf springs at no point need to be removed off the truck to install new rear shocks, a lift block or pretty much anything else unless you plan to install brand new leaf springs and remove the old ones, which isn’t the case here. I stand by my review. Just wow.

I have always had a hard time with mechanics and their trustworthiness but I finally found my place! It's a huge relief to have a place like this when something goes wrong with my car.
This is my second time there and they have great customer service throughout the whole process! Joe is always great. He keeps me informed throughout the process plus he explains what the problem is so that I relatively understand what is going on.
I highly recommend Martin's to anyone looking to find a trustworthy mechanic!
I won't go anywhere else!
