Had an 8:00AM appointment for an oil change with a Groupon I purchased. Arrived on time only to have no one there. Finally someone showed up at 8:15AM to open the garage for myself and another customer who was waiting. Upon finishing my car at 9:00AM I was given a bill for another $60. Apparently my car needed a "special" filter for an extra $10, another 1.5 quarts of oil over and above what the coupon covered, ect.. When I asked why I wouldn't be informed ahead of time was offered a "sorry sir". Also the service check list indicated they washed my windows (didn't), vacuumed (didn't), checked filters (didn't), again ect. I know this because I watched the "tech" the entire time from my chair. This place is unprofessional, lazy and not worth anyone's hard earned cash. Run don't hide to anywhere from Pit Stop Elgin.

This place is ran by crooks. I called and scheduled an appointment for a Groupon I purchased for brake pads and rotor replacement. When I called I gave them the make, model and year of my car. The next day I drove 1hr for this appointment and when I arrived the place looked sketchy to say the least. I told a guy I was there for an appointment and he said ok. My lady and me went to the 7/11 next door for snacks and when I came back they hadn't even started working. Long story short they tried to up charge me an additional $250 on top of the Groupon and tried hand me a bogus itemized receipt . I've never had my intelligence insulted in such a way by such unsavory characters. I called Groupon and filed for a refund. I also have a 4 door sedan that is not a luxury vehicle so they couldn't even explain the extra price. They were more concerned about the price I paid for the Groupon which its original price $335. I hope this Pit Stop gets investigated because I'm sure the manager is stealing money by up charging people.

not Good at all went there one day for a quote! i got a quote of 375 for brakes&rotors paid for a groupon voucher for 250 when i made it there they gave me a higher quote making me have to come out an extra 189 totaling 440 for brakes & rotors on one axel

Come early at 8am, for a tune up and a check up to pass my emissions test. The guy with the tattoos was rude and right away told me that the just for him to check the car was going to be between 60 and 120 dollars.Now the feed is understandable, it’s not a flat rate ok. Just the way of talking to your costumer, it drove me away.

I would NOT bring your vehicle here!! They are con men and extremely bad mechanics!! Brought car in for a oil leak on a car that had no running problems and now I have a car with a blown motor due to their incompetence!!!
