We have been taking our Huskies to Elmhurst Animal Care Center for years, and they always receive excellent care. From the front desk staff, to the techs, down to the veterinarians. We have taken them here for check ups/follow up cares, boarding, and training. Whenever we go on vacation, our dogs stay here for boarding. We can tell they’re having the best time from the pictures we receive from the boarding staff. It’s like our dogs are on their own vacation!
Dr Cudiamat is our go-to vet. He is professional, very kind, and very reassuring. He really cares for our dogs. Not to mention very patient, because our dogs tend to be very “hyper” and anxious in public. He answers all our questions and concerns.
We can’t say enough good things about him and the staff, especially when it came to the most difficult time of our lives when we had to say goodbye to our old man husky. The staff was very considerate. Dr Cudiamat did an amazing job at informing us of the “process.” We felt that they were all there for us during this time. And they even sent us a sympathy card showing their condolences. Which we appreciated.
So, thank you Elmhurst Animal Care Center!
Also, take your dogs to train with Derrick! He’s awesome!! You’ll definitely thank him and yourself for doing it. lol.

Very concerning experience with Dr Jon Cudiamat, not only was he abrasive towards my 12 yr old dog, he was condescending to me, In fact bullying me with staring at me long term when I told him I wanted my dog back in the room with me and we would not be doing further tests with him due to his approach. After exrays, he confidently diagnosed my dog with obstruction in stomach and spleen cancer which was bleeding. He suggested immediate surgery, $20k, and if I couldnt get my dog to eat in next day suggested I put her down. I was baffled by his quick extreme diagnosis and shared I’m getting another opinion and wanted copies of exray. He was angry at this as well and his ego offended. Within 12hours, another experienced rational vet diagnosed her with no cancer, nothing wrong with spleen, stomach was irrated by a small raw hide bone I gave her days prior, which I told Dr Cudiamat. Within 24 hours of seeing Dr Cudiamat my dog was eating, and more active. Within 36 hours she was back to her normal self. Completely reckless for Dr Cudiamat to deal with life and death so irresponsible, bullying the owner, suggesting immediate surgery and diagnosing cancer, all from a exray. I am so thankful I am educated to not tolerate that behavior from a mygonist man and I. knew better to leave as soon as he mistreated me and my dog. Much room for improvement on so many levels it’s disturbing to think of other customers that are victims to this.

My dog Cooper was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia a little over a month ago. We came here for a 2nd opinion after his first vet was fairly unhelpful. The care he has received since diagnosis has been heartwarming. From seeing Dr. Hari, Dr. Cudiamat, to Dr. Berg & probably others that I am missing- we have been frequent flyers here in the last month. Each and every doctor that has seen him has been familiar with his case and treated him as if he was their own (this means the world). Each doctor has been able to provide us with peace of mind and create an action plan for the best line of care for our special boy. I can't say enough how much this type of care means to my family and I. I appreciate everything Elmhurst Animal Care Center has done to help him recover as quickly as possible & Cooper thanks them too.

I have been taking animals here for a few years and I love them so much. The prices here are very acceptable for a vet’s office and we can always get a better price here than anywhere else on big services that my cats need like teeth cleaning or operations. The vets always know exactly what they’re doing and are confident and good listeners. They really care about our animals. Plus, for a walk in clinic they see you incredibly quickly and have great communication for wait times. Thank you for always taking care of my cats :)

My cat was neutered here. The doctor was so nice in keeping me updated & instructing me on how to care for him at home.
