This was my first time taking anything to Lake City Cleaners on Oakton street in Evanston, and they were absolutely wonderful. From the greeting I received upon entering, to the service provided. I had 2 winter coats dry-cleaned, as well as having a tear in one of them repaired. The coats were handled with care and returned cleaner than when I purchased them new, and the repair was seamless!

Service is prompt and professional. Victor is an honorable guy. People complaining of being overcharged are better off taking their clothes to a large chain dry cleaner who doesn’t clean on premise and utilize cheaper under-skilled labor. You are paying a slight premium for a reason. If you care about your clothes enough it’s worth paying a little more.

Best dry cleaner ever! They have been able to remove terrible food and ink stains and their wash and fold service is great. Alterations are always perfect!! Also they are very friendly people.
