This was my second experience with Dennis. Both a sale and a buy were concluded in an outstanding manner. He was flexible and watched all of the legal details of the transactions. He also was patient with document transfers in a SARS-CoV-2 world. I would recommend him to anyone.

In short - hire Dennis Koonce. This is the second house I've bought. The first one we about 10 years ago. However, this was the first time I bought a for sale by owner (so no real estate agents). With not having a agent coordinating a lot of the minutiae of buying a house... you better make sure your lawyer is on the up and up - and Dennis was by far the best lawyer I've worked with. Without rambling on for 5 minutes here are some takeaways: competitively priced, professional, professionally dressed too, explained/knew literally every document in the closing documents, easy to talk to and hold a conversation with - especially when talking through the fine details (which is huge as he was not arrogant or conceited), and coordinated a lot of the close.

I can't say enough good about Dennis Koonce as a Attorney. We had a very difficult home sale that went through 4 buyers and at all times Dennis was able to keep everything moving until it finally closed. In addition I've had legal issues that Dennis handled flawlessly. We have moved out of Illinois but I still looked to Dennis for help instead of finding a Lawyer locally where we now live, I wouldn't hesitate to call Dennis for whatever we needed, he's a good Attorney that looks out for our best interests as I'm sure he'd do for anyone interested in finding a Attorney that can get the job done and knows what he's doing, plus his fees are very reasonable for the attention he gives to the issue.
