“This location is right downtown (historic building) and is one of the more sizeable in Wheaton. There was hardly a wait even though I visited during a rush period. The service was phenomenal and the postal clerk took the time to review my passport renewal materials and offered me all the mailing options so that I could make the best choice. Overall, excellent experience ? ?. Thank you!”
“This is probably the best USPS location I have ever used. I am an online seller, ever since I start shipping from this branch, complaint about missing packages and delays had been reduced by a lot. The staffs are organized and helpful. It’s a small place and it gets busy but they do they best they can.”

“Lovely staff always. I accidentally dropped off a package in the 24hr drop box with the wrong label on it. Oh no! I came in when the post office opened to hopefully correct my error. The staff member (I forgot her name) was kind enough to go through all the packages to find mine. There were a lot... I had shipped four separate items, and she got them all for me. I found the one with the wrong label, and was able to put the correct label on it. Then shipped it off! This was totally my mistake. So I greatly appreciate all the help I received. Thank you!”
“I had the pleasure of working with Gale on a package of mine that was having issues being shipped from my post office. She followed up with me everyday on updates and eventually got it worked out to be delivered. She was so great to work with, almost would'nt mind if another package was delayed going to her location! haha. Thanks again Gale!”

“I've been going to this post office for 2 years and never had an issue with anyone that works there, or with my mail delivery. There's another review that says they got to the post of 2 minutes before closing, and the door was already locked. Well, maybe don't go anywhere 2 minutes before closing?There are several distinct personalities working there, like anywhere else. They were always polite and helpful to me, and everyone else I saw them interact with. In truth, they were more polite, patient, and tolerant than I would be. I could never deal with some of the people I've seen walk in there.To be honest, it's the other customers that annoy me. You know the type. They don't bother to finish wrapping up their packages at home BEFORE they go to the post office, and you have to stand there and wait for them to do things they should have done earlier. Also, I am a firm believer in the fact that there ARE stupid questions!In summary, I think this post office is good. At least, that has been my experience.”

“My apt has a broken mailbox -picked up my mail from post office asked if todays mail would be in there -he told me yes -got home, it wasn’t. Went back later in day to see if it was there. The supervisor was in the front so the man directed me to her since he didn’t want to check… SHE WAS THE BEST! Went above and beyond she called my mail lady to see if she had mail for me and she did -she took my number and is calling me when she gets there, I am beyond impressed. She could’ve brushed me off but made my day because I really need this piece of mail today va waiting til Monday! Thank you so much”
“All my life I’ve dealt with carol steam post office..always rude people/clearly showing they hate their jobs so I expected the same level of energy at the Winfield location. Except to my surprise Winfield staff are really nice and very professional!. I made an appointment for 3 passports and Kyu was very accommodating, nice and thorough. The lady working next to him was also pleasant to everyone who came in to drop off mails or whatever.”
“Jessica was FABULOUSLY helpful. I was worried about shipping a flute and she was so calm and quick to help me with a smile and patience explaining the different shipping options. If all postal workers were positive/cheerful/ready and helpful like her- so many people would find themselves walking out with a smile each time they went to USPS.? ???? 5 stars, because this is the best service I’ve ever received at any USPS.I don’t remember names easily, so I went back in to see her name tag as she helped someone else in line. I hope her boss knows what an asset she is to their facility- she had a warm welcome for everyone who passed through the door, as the sole front desk employee this Friday afternoon.THANK YOU TREMENDOUSLY JESSICA, for helping me get a package ? on its way to NJ. ?? “I’ve been taught that people do have time to write a review on Google when they are mad. Don’t rely on Google Reviews when you are in doubt where your package at. Mine still a normal time processing, within 24h. Anyway using usps for international shipping so this one still quite fast!”

“Not really sure of all the bad reviews. Never had a bad experience here. Today was the best. Made an appointment for by kids to get passports, or so I thought I did, the man that helped us was like, not a problem I'll do it. He told me where I forgot to hit confirm. He was so nice. Even the ladies working here seemed super nice and friendly. We were in and out in about 15 minutes. Thank you Streamwood post office for making my kids first post office visit exceptional!”

“This place has easy accessible parking lot iff the store. Spacious area with island and supplies ( for purchase) to prepare your package. PO box is available. Andrea was very helpful and friendly. Speedy service with no lines.PLEASE MAKE A NOTE-post office will be closed for lunch from 1-2.If you are picking up missed Package(s), please do not goto this location. All packages pick up at carol stream location.There is no access to printer here so please print your label at home. Cashier will not able to print your label however QR CODE is okay for her to accept it.”
“Ok look, All post offices are understaffed so that's the USPS for you. They all have only one person at the desk so do as much as you can ahead of time!! I think Teri is great! Just do your home work and come prepared and you will be in and out. People come unprepared and expect the staff to do everything for them. That may have worked in the past but THOSE DAYS ARE GONE! Go to Lake Zurich PO and wait 30 min and have them lose your package TOO!!”
