there is a pharmacy tech, asoot/asout, he almost never says his name. every time i have to deal with this person there is not only an issue with my medications (time to switch after having a problem EVERY MONTH), but he is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. he speaks over me and is the least bit helpful as possible. he will even go so far as to say, "you need to call your insurance, but you won't get ahold of them, they're closed." he must moonlight at BCBS ?. only to speak to the manager and find out there is a member services phone number i can call. in addition to insulting my intelligence, he does not give correct information and somehow there is ALWAYS a problem and only with him. also, know they will NOT call you if there is an issue with your insurance or medications. it's "not their policy" to provide this simple service and continuity of care. now, i am out of my meds for a long holiday weekend because there is no customer care at this pharmacy. PSA: YOU ARE DEALING WITH PEOPLE, human beings, patients. i work in healthcare and would no longer have a job if i had an attitude or lack of mutual human respect like him... as well as a serious lack of interpersonal and skill based training. i have spoken to the store manager TWICE personally along with two other friends/family members also telling me they have personally complained to the store manager about this employee, specifically about this same employee. why does he still work there, walgreens? do you not care about your reputation? i am sure corporate does. do you not document customer experiences and complaints? eric, the manager is less than helpful as well. i will be switching pharmacies as i am sooooo sick of having an issue with this specific person EVERY MONTH. wish you guys would actually address this so it doesn't keep happening to other customers. word of mouth is powerful and your reputation is really not looking good. maybe public shaming will actually get something done here!i live a few doors down and i used to stop at this walgreens for EVERYTHING.... you better believe i have not spent a single penny more of my hard earned money at this establishment. hey walgreens, dont forget, just like customers might be a dime a dozen to you, so are pharmacies.

I shop here very often and I enjoy shopping at this Walgreens location. Always excellent service. This morning I had a problem with my account and Store Manager Angela fixed my problem very quickly. She was very helpful and professional. Thank you so much, Angela. Great customer service. Great experience.

Read the update. I normally don't write reviews like this, especially not for pharmacy's, however my trip to Walgreens today was fantastic, all because of an incredible employee you have. The young man working around noon on Sunday was so kind and friendly. Very positive guy with great customer service.They now hired a skinny Mexican who said he was gonna slap me then rode around the parking lot on a mobile wheelchair. The manager heard. If he ain't fired then don't go here. There will be more issues coming. A grown man saying he's gonna smack me a little girl. If he can't control himself there will be many more people coming to this establishment to test his emotional regulation.

Most (not all but definitely the one working Tuesdays at 130) pharmacists here are rude, and don't care about patients at all. I called my doctor (whose message says to have the pharmacy call) for a refill, so I call the pharmacy and the pharmacist says she can't call. What a joke.

Pharmacist suggested I contact CVS or OSCO to find medication because they were on backorder. Wouldn't be considerate enough to just look up what Walgreens nearby has stock. So I took care of it myself and found a Walgreens pharmacy with the medication. I am seriously disappointed and sick of the laziness that is: Walgreens Pharmacists.

Amazing pharmacy. The Pharmacist on Staff this evening was very kind and helpful. I called twice with urgert questions about traveling with prescriptions and the Pharmacist took my calls and answered all my questions. He and the Staff at this location are knowledgeable, thorough and competent.

This place needs to get it together! Every time I come here there’s an issue! They can’t find meds or they are too busy unloading merchandise I’m the pharmacy to be bothered! The pharmacist is nice and helpful and the cashiers outside the pharmacy are super sweet! The pharmacy techs leave a lot to be desired except one and I usually see him if I have to go at night! He’s great! Here’s a tip if you can’t find someone’s meds instead of slamming down your drive thru phone and rolling your eyes try saying let me check with the pharmacist! My dad got his start at Walgreens as a pharmacist then went on to open his own businesses! GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE!!!

We avoided those pop up testing sites. It took us one week to be able to get an appointment. We got tested on Sunday...Wednesday night we get message there was no label with name of the person so inconclusive" so now we need to get another appointment in 8 days, nothing earlier...then wait 4-5 more? so a total of more than 3 weeks to be tested? wow...workplaces do not wait so long for results and keep jobs. We are truly disappointed about the irresponsability of Walgreens not putting the labels?!! and making people wait...at this time...we will not come back...it will be 24 days to get a result after all the process. Unacceptable.

Got covid tested. No information given afterwards. Received results email without results link attached. I Could not access my results. Called pharmacy spoke to mustafa. No help. Eric the pharmacist isn’t able to help. The 800 number doesn’t work. Still can’t view my results. Made this appointment a week in advance. Terrible job, do better Walgreens.

This address states that it’s located in Itasca but the actual place is in Wood dale, I had wasted my time and energy trying to find the Walgreens. Don’t recommend it at all.

Sadly, I made appointment for covid test that is so hard to get and 4 days later I learn they didn't put a label so no results...impossible...they do not know which specimen is whose. Customer service is dying in this country. Rudeness and sloppy work everywhere.
