Unfortunately, I can't leave ZERO STARS... the Fifth-Third claims to deliver banking "a fifth-third better"... but what they really deliver is non-existent & poor client services. Period. Absolutely awful. All the Time. Set up a transfer of funds today, only to find out, their "security dept" stopped the transfer an hour later. No explanation. On hold with their "Preferred Client Services Line" for about 2 hours to speak with someone to fix the problem. Finally gave up.

Fairly disgusted with the lack of service being offered at my bank. This is not just for this location but 5th 3rd in general.I went in today to get rid of my loose change only to be told (at 2 different locations) that they have removed their change counters and now only accept rolled change. So…you want your customers to do the work that you pay tellers (who are normally standing around waiting for a customer to walk in)? Pretty sad that you want your customers to do the work for you…excellent customer service.

I dont understand the 1 star reviews.First off, this bank ,We think is wonderful.We deal with Tracie White at this branch.Shes amazing! She goes the extra mile for you.Shes a very dedicated employee.If shes off work at 3pm? She'll stay till 6pm making sure all your questions are answered and your happy.She returns calls quickly.We love this bank.If you want a bank that has your back,.. Do business here.

Trying to change my name and address, I called this branch ahead of time to ask about I would need present with me when I come into the branch to change this info. I was advised to bring my marriage license, but was not told I would need the other account holder present with me to make the change. When I got there, they said the second account holder needed to be present to physically sign off on this. Drove 1 hour round trip to hear this when I tried to call ahead to avoid something like this. Will likely be closing my accounts with them when I return, this is not the first time I’ve had trouble with Fifth Third, and they are by far the most difficult business regarding name/address changes. The woman who assisted me was kind, but my main purpose for my visit was not successful, hence the two stars.

I have been trying to refi my home for 6 months. It is still pending. I have all my investments and savings with your bank and am about to transfer everything out to another bank due to the miserable way I have been treated. No callbacks,, not able to reach the personal banker at mokena branch. Helen Blount

they don't have enough cash to complete my withdrawal so I said I guess I would take a cashiers check if I have to, but then they aren't able to waive the fee for the cashiers check... guess that's why I'm going to a different bank.

Tried to open up a saving account there. was told to leave my number, and that some one would call me back to set up a appointment. Never received a phone call. Taking my money elsewhere.

Banker Steven G. Fauntleroy and other staff provided excellent customer service over the phone and at the La Grange Road branch. They are professional, knowledgeable, and kind.

Better bring your lunch because you will be there all day trying to get your accounts in order. Horrible service. Today, we closed out our last account because of the awful service. We are going to Chase or Harris where the service is much better.

I’ve been doing business here for about three months, and so far I am unimpressed. I called with a question, and had to wait hours for someone to call me back. Told me they’ll get back to me… Hours later I’m still waiting for that call.I’ve done business with another bank for 30 years. If I call with a question that they can’t answer, they got the information and called me back within minutes.
