I decided to try this salon since I just moved to this area from Chicago. I walked to book the apt for the following day for just a hair cut. My impression of the salon is that it looked nice and clean. It looked almost spa-like so I was expecting a great relaxing experience.
I went in about 10 minutes early for my apt. I got my hair wash, which was amazing and so relaxing. As soon as I sat in the stylist chair my apt was rushed and so was her hair cut. I don't think this is entirely her fault so I won't state her name. I think the issue is that the time allotted for her to give a haircut is insufficient. I think client's should be asked more questions about what they are looking for so that they can have a great experience. My haircut is ok but my experience is soured by the fact that my stylist was rushed and continued to cut my hair after she took the cape off getting hair all over my clothes.
That said, I won't be back and do not recommend.

Can't say enough, this was my first color and cut since growing hair back after completing Chemotherapy. Paul did an amazing job with my crazy curls, the color was exactly as I asked for, with a beautiful result! Our family has a new favorite salon!! Thank you again!

EDIT: The owner's response below is pretty disappointing. Hopefully those reading it recognize it for the red flag that it is.
I visited this salon after a dental appointment next door and decided to give it a try. I booked with Paul, hoping for a great first impression.
Unfortunately, my experience fell short. I was the first appointment of the day and Paul arrived 15 minutes late f without any communication. While I understand delays happen, it felt as though the rest of the appointment was rushed. I showed reference photos and specifically mentioned wanting a darker, natural root. However, I ended up with full highlights all the way to the root, without the soft contrast or face-framing brightness I requested.
For the haircut, I asked to keep as much length as possible while trimming any damaged ends, noting that I rarely use heat and have minimal damage. Despite this, over two inches were cut immediately, followed by a second, rushed dry cut. My hair is now shoulder-length—something I explicitly hoped to avoid.
At checkout, I was surprised to be charged for an extra bowl of product ($40) and toner gloss ($40). My hair is fine and thin, so this seemed unnecessary given I already paid for full foils. Is this to say that this salon is willing to do a full foil with no toner gloss? This should be included with upfront the full foil price and not a surprise charge at the end.
In total, I spent $480, including shampoo and conditioner that cost $73. I returned a few days later to return the products after using them twice and not liking them, only to be told that returns are not accepted—only exchanges. I wasn’t informed of this policy at the time of purchase, and I couldn’t find it posted in-store or online. Aveda’s own website states that gently used returns are accepted within 30 days. I wouldn’t have made such an expensive purchase from a new brand if I had known returns were not allowed.

First time haircut with the owner Paul. Very satisfied. My previous medium long Bradley Cooper-ish hairstyle wasn’t working for me and I explained my concerns to Paul. He gave very good recommendations and the final haircut came out very well. Even did something tiny on the sides which added to the overall look. Great looking and clean place, will be going back to Paul.

I recently visited this salon for a full balayage, and while the color turned out great, my overall experience was somewhat disappointing. The stylist was skilled, and the balayage itself was beautifully done adding a lot of dimension to my hair. However, I couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable when the stylist made a remark about American customers (I know she meant white people) being “easy” because “all they want to do is blonde.”
It was an offhand comment and it didn’t sit well with me. It seemed unprofessional and somewhat dismissive of the diverse preferences that clients might have. While I understand that balayage is popular and often associated with blonde tones, the comment left a bad taste in my mouth.
Overall, the results were good, but I would hope that the staff could focus on making all clients feel valued, regardless of their ethnicities or style preferences.
I plan to continue going to this salon but will definitely opt for a different stylist.

Wow I'm so impressed with this salon! It's a well oiled machine with super friendly staff! I came in for a cut from Kaitlyn and I highly recommend her - she listened intently and did EXACTLY what I wanted. I wanted to keep most of my length but incorporate layers, and Kaitlyn perfectly delivered on that. She was also great to chat with, and every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. And there was even a mini head massage during the shampooing! Great salon, great vibe, I highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting with Samantha, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I walked into the salon, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Samantha took the time to listen to my hair concerns and what I wanted to achieve. They offered great suggestions and were incredibly knowledgeable about the latest trends and techniques. I highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a professional who truly cares about their clients. I will definitely be returning for future appointments.

First time there, Taylor was amazing and did an excellent job with my hair, happy with that!!
The front however messed up my payment and I paid for someone else's visit which was later fixed so that’s good.
Then I got an extra charge which turned out to be $95 dollars for an inch of a splits cut. I think $95 for JUST a split cut is an insanely ridiculous amount, had I known the price upfront I wouldn’t have done it. You don’t think it’s THAT much for a quick minute split cut so you don’t ask, you should always ask because they don’t mention it unless you do. Then you pay some amount you weren’t ready for.
$20 for styling and $95 for dry inch of a split cut? Yeah no :)
