We were on our pre wedding shooting and just looking around the store. It was such a beautiful and aesthetic. We wanted to buy some mugs but unfortunately they don’t take any card and we didn’t bring any cash on us. So we told him that we are gonna come back here on our honeymoon and will surely come back to their store. And he congratulated on our wedding and gave us a houseplant as a gift! That’s such a sweet gesture.

My Daughter and I stopped in to browse a while. Joe the owner and artisan really cares about his customers that’s for sure. We chatter quite a bit about all sorts of stuff around town. After looking around we grabbed a few awesome pieces. A neat coffee mug, a small round tray she is going to use to hold her rings, and earrings, as well as cool little soup bowl that I’m going to drill holes into the bottom and use as a small bonsai pot. If driving through to visit Starved Rock I recommend stopping in. You won’t be disappointed.

The owner is the sweetest man, I’m going there this week to get a mug or 2 from him. I have an absolutely gorgeous pot I use to house my monstera plant and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. The owner mixes his own clay recipe and everything in the shop is made by him and him alone. There is so much to choose from with fantastic prices. I can’t wait to go back!

Very nice art and functional gifts for a fair price. The owner was so nice to me and my young son. He even gave him a button like a pig nose. Very welcoming and nice place.
