My Husband Reserved A Car.. And When He Got There It Was Gone. He Paid Up To $700 To Hold The Vehicle . So He Asked For Another Sedan Because We Have KidsThey Said They Couldnt Give Him Another Sedan Because They Was Already Reserved..But Yall Got Rid Of My Husband Reserved Car?They Then Said “Oh Well Its First Come First Serve”Nobody Was There But Him So He Asked To Be Served Another Car And They Told Him They Couldn't.Instead Of Giving Him A Reimbursement They Offered Him A Pick Up Truck, One That Don't Fit Kids InsideWE HAVE KIDS.. So We Was Not Able To Get A Vehicle. Im Leaving A Review, I Have Reached Out To Upper Management & Left A Complaint & I Will Be Reaching Out To BBB.. Im Upset! Whats The Point Of Taking Someone Money If You Not Gone Hold The Vehicle For Them Upon Arrival (And Yes We Was On Time For Our Scheduled Vehicle)I Honestly Think It Was Discrimination .. No Im Not Pulling The Race Card But My Husband Is A Young Man With Locs .. BUT He Has A Great Career , Not In The Streets , & Goes To Church. The Judgement Was There. And Yes He Is African American.

The only problem i have with Avis ,they not sent me my total charges. Even when i hired a car in England, inn July,23. Very disapointed in them ,not doing what they told me ,they do.

Avis rented an SUV to my business with 63,000 miles on it and bald tires, which caused a blowout on the interstate in heavy traffic and a possibly fatal accident! We were told it was the only available SUV to accommodate the group. I've called Avis on their practices in the past but decided to give them the opportunity to correct their wrongs. MISTAKE

The Representatives are very friendly, professional and recognizes me as a "valued customer". I rent from this location all the time if they have vehicles available. I'm a Preferred Customer, and I am recognized for that at this location. I'm in and out under 20 minutes. I had to rent a vehicle serval times this year due to my personal vehicle being in the repair shop for a few days. The manager is very courteous and the other Representatives are respectful, courteous, and professional. I've never felt discriminated against at this location, like I have at the location 1830 S. Wabash, Chicago, IL, very racist!!!! They should not be in business representing Avis. My husband and I are Preferred Plus customer, and we were treated like first time rental customer. I would advised African American not go to this Wabash location.

Ask with Josh this young man is very intelligent and a very good work at Avis I met him and spoke to him before my car came back he's very good with the company and tell you about all the gas mileage which cars to choose.

The Avis Orland Park location charged me $94.90 after I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas. They indicated on my receipt that I returned the vehicle on empty. The SUV took $59 max to fill. I will never use this company again for car rental again. I only had to provide the gas station location and the amount paid for gas before I was offered a refund for gas. With no apologies for the mistake. The organization charges a $300 (for a debit card holding fee $200 for a credit card) plus the total price of the rental the day of pickup. The day of pickup charges (holding fee plus rental) are returned in full in 2 days and then you are charged the full rental price that include a fee that is not included on the original rental agreement the day after the return. A ridiculous experience I will never recommend Avis or the shiesty Orland Park location again.

Service was great and fast staff was also very friendly!! I will be going back next week to rent another vehicle it's in my new neighborhood so I'll just call it my home rental spot now. Thank the gentleman for being understanding I was greiving and forgot to fill up he asked me to just leave them a review. That was very sweet and he shared his loss with me as well over the weekend which was very personal. I been in customer service 25 years they have what it takes to run a successful establishment! Thank you!

Drop off was fine. Lost and found, horrible. They do not "participate" in the Avis lost and found. The only way to get your items back to to reach them over the phone. When you select lost and found , it says "due to an unexpected event, we are not able to assist you" and hangs up. When you try other prompts, it connects you to a main office , not the branch, and the branch has "no way"" of reaching the office except through submitting a ticket has been done 3 times now, and the branch has never acknowledged . I am in another state and left two computer tablets with personal info on it. If you are out of state DO NOT use this location, simply for the fact if you leave something in the car, you will never get it back. My wife and I have literally made 12 calls on different occasions and spent well over an hour on the phone, and still never received even an acknowledgement from this branch. It's one step from stealing and I'd be embarrassed if it were my business and I found out my customers were treated this way. Never again at this branch for me.

Very nice staff. Pricing for truck rental was pretty good. The truck takes quite a bit of refueling, spent more on gas than what was budgeted. Other than that,..... fair .....

I have to write abou the disappointment that I received renting from this AVIS. I rented a car and when I received my charges it was doubled due to them charging excessive fees for gas and soliage.1. charge for the gas where they had given it to me at 1/2 tank. 2. They charged me for excessive soliage charges which were not true.I came back to the office on Sunday, June 18th there was a lady there who said she was the manager and I could speak to the owner. I spoke to the owen Douglas Lima. I told him how was I charged for gas when the car was given to me with 1/2 tank and what was the excessive charges for? Douglass proceeded to show me a video which showed a few crumbs and gravel from my shoes from walking in the parking lot and said it was excessive. He tried to tell me that if it takes more than 15 minutes that is considered excessive. As he showed the video I siad there a few crumbs and gravel from walking. He refused to refund me my money which was bull. They are charging excessive amount to people to their discrection. I will be notifying my co-workers and staff regarding this incident. I have rented from various states and this location and this is thus far the WORST expereinced this from Avis. Take videos when you get it, When you bring it back. They are and trying to take advanatage of their customers to put money in their pockets.

They make an effort for Customer Satisfaction I saw the 2* rating and had to give them a review to encourage them. My first experience renting was not pleasant as they made me go back home to get my corporate badge. No one has ever done that when I travel for business and I saw the bias in that. The car they gave had suspension issues and they could not change and I had to change my car in a different Avis.However, from the second rental the process have been quicker and the vehicles were lot cleaner and better. I would say that they are making a good effort to test their customers right and give vehicles that are of good quality.

Staff was very helpful, especially Alexia and Arianna. Had great assistance from the boss as well. No problems with renting a car and was able to get my preferred vehicle. The vehicle came in good condition and almost had a new car smell. Returning the vehicle was also very easy and smooth process. Again staff assisted me with the whole process and was very helpful.

I rented a car from Avis on December 31st, 2022, and returned it a couple of days later. I returned it during business hours and the employee inspected the car and drove it. Everything looked good, the car ran fine, and there were no issues. In late May 2023, almost 5 entire months after returning the car, I received a letter in the mail dated May 22, 2023, claiming that there was ignition lock, switch & housing damage. There were absolutely no issues with the ignition when I used it, and there were no issues upon inspection of the car. Furthermore, there was absolutely no contact with me in the 5 months following my rental, and I am SURE they leased the car to other customers after me. I have asked them to produce proof of the damage or paperwork showing an inspection or a bill showing they repaired it dated in January 2023 so that I can know this issue was tied directly to my rental. They have refused. Now they are taking the liberty of charging my card directly $567.21 without producing any evidence whatsoever. I have called the supervisor and manager multiple times asking for evidence. It is absolutely absurd that they think they can charge me such an extreme amount SEVERAL MONTHS LATER without even producing a shred of evidence.
