Should have never given them a second chance after messing up my taxes after my divorce.
Need an amendment done, and they still had difficulty with this. Would absolutely go anywhere else other than this location.

Definitely not the place to get your taxes done. I received a letter from the IRS in late May of 2024 regarding a huge overlook on the tax preparers part and am just now receiving a resolution and a tax bill from the IRS for her oversight. There was no urgency on her part to get this resolved but I can understand when the IRS isn’t after YOUR wrongful taxes.
Go to someone who takes the time, communicates, and who is capable of holding themselves accountable when a mistake is made.

The team on staff are absolutely wonderful and the reason I don’t file myself online! I always go to Erika and the receptionist Maddie and the rest of the staff are all so welcoming and sweet which you don’t always get during tax season! Thank you all!

I will always go to Ottawa, Il H&R Block. The people that have been there for so many years are friendly, helpful and amazing people to help with all your needs on getting your taxes done. They make sure you feel welcomed and explain everything to you and what if anything you can do for a better outcome the following years. I love getting to work with Erika Mulholland, Tricia Bacha, Stephanie Ledbetter, and Greg Rosenquist. The best people I have had doing my taxes for years now and many more to come. Great people!

Tricia was absolutely fantastic. I came in as a walk in and was immediately helped. She answered all of my questions while being kind and reassuring throughout the whole process. She showed me all of my options, and even helped me fix some things from my last year's taxes. 5 stars, so much easier than dealing with TurboTax.
