The vet and staff were great when they saw my 12 year old beagle. I brought him in because we recently moved to the area and we have been fighting an UTI. The vet suggested some labs, which were pricey, but I knew they had to be done. They estimated about a week until the results came back. I waited a week and a couple of days and did not hear back. I called, they said they would look into it. l did not get a call back at all. I called back a week after that. At this point it had been almost 3 weeks since the tests had been sent out. They didn't have an answer for me, but whoever took my call said they would get am answer for me. Finally the vet called me back later that day just to tell me the results were inconclusive, amd that they would continue to monitor the samples and reach back out with any results. It's been 2.5 months. Haven't heard back from them at all. Would not reccomend, the tests/labs were expensive and on top of worrying if my dog was okay, I had to be the one to follow up with them. This was very disappointing as I had high hopes this would be our new vet for both our dogs.

Uncaring and underwhelming. I took my 3 year old English Bulldog there for progressive flaky sores forming on his back for over 90 days now. I had tried everything at home, bathes, topical solutions, changing food from kibble to home cooked, etc. This is my third set of bulldogs so I know the breed pretty well. However, I agreed to their $150 skin culture to the lab to see if it was ringworm. I followed up for the results after the 4th day. They had the results the day prior and didn't even bother to call, after all they don't have to deal with my pups discomfort. I was told I would get a call from the DR. to go over the results and a treatment. Well the Dr did not call. So, I called back the following morning and was told the Dr. would be busy all day in surgeries. I demanded a call back so that I could begin a treatment plan for my bulldog. I finally got the call just before noon. It was not ringworm and she suggested more expensive cultures.NOT!!!! I went there and picked up an antibiotic and was told I should bring him back for a follow up in 2 weeks. I MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT. He will go back to VCA All Pets in Lockport where their service is far better. A total of $365 and I don't know anymore about treating his fungus than I did prior to taking him there. I just hope this antibiotic they guessed at works. Or, I'm back to home remedies. Lots of antibiotics is never good for dogs.

Very caring, compassionate, loving staff as well as the veterinarian. The facility is also very clean. The vet was very thorough and gave me confidence
to have my 14yr old Bishon receive dental surgery in January 2024. She also prescribed an antibiotic and pain med for my Lil fur baby. I definitely refer anyone to go to Caton Crossing animal facility. I also had to bring my Lil guy in this past week, he got vestibular which is heart wrenching to see ur fur baby have a tilted head and can't walk. I was able to get an appt same day I called. I was treated with compassion and the tech helped me Carry my guy in the door. The doctor was thorough, kind, loving etc. My Bo was treated with a shot & prescribed medicine. Caton Crossing is the BEST & AFFORDABLE vetinarian place I ever been to. They are highly recommended.
