A Culinary Dilemma: The Costco Cheese Pizza Experience
In the realm of frozen culinary delights, Costco’s cheese pizza has long been hailed as a convenient option for families and pizza aficionados alike. However, my recent encounter with this ostensibly delightful dish has led me down a path of unforeseen gastronomic tribulations that merit a detailed reflection.
Upon unearthing the pizza from its cardboard cocoon, I was immediately enamored by its golden crust, which beckoned with the promise of a crispy texture and a cheesy embrace. The initial aroma was reminiscent of pizzeria excellence, with a tantalizing blend of mozzarella and tomato that danced through the air. Yet, as the oven worked its magic, the anticipation was soon overshadowed by a rather disconcerting twist.
An Unwelcome Surprise
As I indulged in the inaugural slice, the flavors were, at first, harmonious—a symphony of cheese melting into the savory tomato sauce. However, the experience took an unexpected turn when I encountered a rather, shall we say, “unpleasant aftertaste” that lingered far too long, reminiscent of a most unfortunate dietary indiscretion. It soon became evident that the culprit behind this gastronomic misfortune was none other than the very cheese that had initially lured me in.
Despite not being lactose intolerant, it appeared that the rich, copious layers of cheese were wreaking havoc on my digestive system. What followed was a sensation akin to a volcano erupting inside of me, as the cheese transformed from a comforting filling to a tumultuous force. The once-welcome warmth of the cheese turned into relentless pressure, building within me until it could no longer be contained.
The Battle Within
In that moment, as I felt the turmoil churning beneath the surface, it was as though I was thrust into an epic battle—a mythical clash against demons and gods' guardians alike. Each wave of discomfort became a fierce opponent, rising up to challenge my will. I clenched my fist, resolute in my determination to conquer this gastrointestinal uprising, but the forces within me were formidable.
With every desperate attempt to unload the feces, I felt as if I was navigating a perilous labyrinth, fraught with obstacles and trials. The very act of sitting upon the porcelain throne became a treacherous endeavor. I envisioned myself as a hero, sword drawn, facing the dark and chaotic minions of my digestive distress. Each moment was a fierce struggle, a test of my resolve as I battled against the primal forces that sought to claim victory over my body.
The pressure mounted, and I could hear the echoes of my inner turmoil, the clash of swords against the shields of my sanity. Was it the cheese that had summoned these demons, or was it my own hubris in indulging in such a cheesy delight? The walls of the bathroom closed in on me, and I fought valiantly, my heart racing as I wrestled with the chaos within.
Conclusion: A Dish Best Avoided
In conclusion, while Costco cheese pizza may offer an enticing visual and promising initial flavor, the cheese, in all its glory, proved to be the harbinger of discomfort. The post-consumption repercussions rendered the experience less than desirable. This culinary conundrum serves as a reminder that not all that glitters is gold, and sometimes, even the simplest of pleasures can lead to unexpected calamities.
For those seeking a gastronomic delight sans the unwelcome aftermath, it may be prudent to explore alternative options that prioritize both flavor and digestive harmony. Thus, I bid farewell to the Costco cheese pizza, a once-favored indulgence that has regrettably earned a place on my list of culinary cautionary tales. The memory of that epic battle against the demons and guardians of my digestive system will serve as a vivid reminder to tread carefully in the world of frozen pizza indulgences.

I visited the Costco in Plainfield today with my husband. Our experiences prior have always been very pleasant with the employees however that was not the case today. We were checking out, Aubree S was our cashier. I wanted to have an item deleted off my order and she said she couldn't do that and she'd have to re-ring everything again. I couldn't understand why, she was very rude to us, rolling her eyes and her tone was not very nice. A cashier manager corrected her telling her yes you can just delete the item and she even gave the manager an attitude and rolled her eyes at her. I think I will start shopping at the Bolingbrook location as we have never had an issue there. We were very upset how she treated us and embarrassed how she spoke down to us and very loudly I might add.

Costco has no business using this service Transmotion to do any installations. I left 14 messages over four days. not one callback. I emailed them seven times and finally got one response, but it took days. Free install never happened on my dishwasher. I'm elderly and put this dishwasher in 20 years ago, hence not this time. First installer said " no can do because I afraid I scratch your floor". So the next day, I lowered the wheels like I did when I put it in. Out it came, no scratch , no problem. So they come back out and tell me they don't have the adapter to hook into the water line so they can't install. I'm calling a plumber and sending bill to Costco. I wish I read all these horrible and negative reviews before. Costco needs to wake up. Plumber took less than hour. $185.

The customer service at this location is the absolute worst. The cashier was snippy and short when we mentioned that we had a purchase that was tax exempt and her attitude turned snarky. She barked that she was the only person to load our cart and she needed it but we still had stuff in it. Sarah was so rude, nasty and short. This was my parents first time stepping foot into a Costco and based on their experience they will be keeping their Sam's Club Membership. Not at all impressed. Fortunately, I was able to speak to a front end supervisor and she took the time to listen to our experience and seemed appalled by the cashier's behavior.

Was at this store, very clean everyone was quite pleasant. As for one of the review that said the black woman at the door checking cards racially profiled him...Oh hold up.. she's a woman color or race makes no difference. You got the time from the drive from your house, to parking your car, to the door of the store to find your card. Flashing it like it's a badge don't make it seen. Unless you ain't that smart to find it before you arrive at any Costco and hold it up so the greeter can see it. Thank You to everyone who is an essential worker, I appreciate you!!

Walked in and was immediately racially profiled from the greeter. The black women checking cards yells at me for not showing my card "long enough" to her but let multiple others of her own race walk by without a word. I shake my head as I walk away and under my breathe said "Jesus Christ". She then calls security and two employees come find me while shopping and this woman claims I used profanity at her. So apparently Jesus Christ is a bad word now. I also use this for my business spending over $300/week but I'll now be going to sams club instead.

Don't get me wrong the store is really decent always clean great products. But when it comes to the bathrooms they're absolutely disgusting. I mean most of the toilets are clogged there's toilet paper all over the floor.

Everywhere I Go WE get five star service. Always enjoy my visits, the staff are very helpful. Very clean! I just wish someone would come wash my windows and check my oil for me. Those crazy kids should have taken engine repair in high school. I told them they could have had a really good career working on engines. Happy Thanksgiving!

I have been going to this store since it opened and found that the store was very nice, along with the employees in comparison to the other one in Naperville, on rt. 59. Today, all that went out the window with the tire department. I bought my tires at COSTCO, have pulled into many COSTCO's to have my tires checked or filled with air. Today, Erica, aka Hitler, sat outside the service area in a mini-van beeping the horn at me to move - I had stopped to ask if someone would check my tires as the low pressure light came on - and pointing me to get out of her way and yelled across the lot at me. Really? Is it necessary to be so rude? I finally got one of the guys in the department to fill the tires...after much arguing with me that I can do it myself at the newly installed air pump.... I'm sorry, I don't know how to use this and the last time I tried, I over-inflated my tires which is just as bad as not having enough air. Is it necessary to be so rude to people who ask for help with their tires that they bought at your store? I guess that's how these employees show their appreciation. They clearly don't appreciate customers and would rather they just go away. Not a good experience at all. If you are in a customer experience position and can't accommodate customers, you should be fired or quit as you clearly do not like your jobs.
