I check the website for the time the pharmacy open had to call the store. The pharmacy opens at 10 am now. The pharmacy and staff is great but these hours will be bad for morning pick up

I love my small town pharmacy, and the employees are awesome. My insurance wants me to start using their prescriptions by mail service, and I have refused so my local business gets the work. However, I am very disappointed in the owners decision to close the pharmacy drive thru effective January 20th, 2025. I have disabilities and use either a walker or crutches, depending on the day. I just had surgery yesterday and was surprised to see the drive thru closed down today. It is very inconvenient and sometimes dangerous to have to go in for my many prescriptions as I am a "fall risk" right now. The pharmacy staff suggested that next time, I should call ahead and honk when I arrive so they can bring it out to me. As much as I really appreciate the generous offer, I think it is rediculous to make them go thru that extra effort when they have a fully functional drive thru drawer to use. Subtracted 1 star for the owners silly decision to stop using the drive thru. I hope the owner reconsiders before I transfer all of my prescriptions to the mail service. I have been going out of my way to keep my business local. My mailbox is much closer.

The staff at the Poplar Grove location are some of the kindest people I have ever met. They have done an absolute amazing job being my pharmacy. Especially Pat. Im so happy to have them. Even the store staff are very kind and respectful. It's nice to know places like this still exist.

I have used Snyder for YEARS for my prescription needs (as well as my husband’s RX needs), and this is BY FAR the best pharmacy I have used.
As a pain management patient, there are certain “hoops” one must go thru to continue being a patient - one of them is that you (as in patient) will use ONE pharmacy for all pain related medications . That being said, in 6+ years I have had ONE issue with filling my pain patch RX here - and that had to do with a SHORTAGE of my particular dosage EVERYWHERE in the area (I was able to pick up my RX elsewhere that was the ONLY pharmacy within 20 miles that had my dosage!) - as such a patient finding a “good” pharmacy as well as building a relationship with the pharmacist is important!
Susie (head pharmacist) and her staff have ALWAYS been nothing but amazing and helpful! Susie goes above and beyond to ensure meds are available (including making sure a different med that I’m on is ordered and ready for me every single month without fail!) - check out is always a breeze - even on a day (RECENTLY!) when the cashier (not AT the pharmacy counter) failed to ring up ALL of my scripts (despite my stating “I know I have a copay for these!) *to the tune of $120* wasn’t an issue. I was able to return the next day and pay my copay (when picking up husband’s RX) and go on about my day.
Thank you, Susie (and staff whose names I can’t always REMEMBER!) for being AWESOME. I’m so found I have ya’ll in my “care team”!

The staff are always friendly and know exactly where to find what you're looking for. The gift department is outstanding. I find items that I don't see anywhere else. Some clothes, too.

I get this is a small town pharmacy that’s here for convenience, but I still don’t think that’s any reason to price gouge products. My husband paid $17.99 for contact solution normally priced at 7.99 I get a small increase, but that’s not right. Do you locals right and we will support you but with this kind of robbery I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Rented a Uhaul truck there. Kathy was very friendly and helpful. She made sure that I understood everything about the rental contract and the truck and that all my questions were answered. Would reccomend Snyder's for all your Uhaul rentals.
