Find somewhere else! They will do work without telling you and make you pay for it. They’ll also break things on your car without telling you then when you come to pay they’ll mention they noticed it was broken although it wasn’t before then try to get you to pay for that also. They aren’t fair priced and definitely not honest, they’ll take 2 weeks longer than they originally told you. I could probably list more reason not to go here but I know I’m not the only one who experienced these issue so just go somewhere else.

5 stars is not enough! My regular shop botched getting the oil filter on. On my way home from Cincinnati the filter lost its seal and my oil ended up on the interstate. At 3:30 on a Friday these guys took the time to get us fixed up and on the road back home! Can't thank them enough!

The friendly and professional staff took care of our daughter's car issues when she ran into problems at college. We have now happily used them on several occasions and were very satisfied with their work and the cost of service!

Today St. Joseph Auto and Diesel in St. Joseph, IL saved my day!!! I had a tire blow out on I-74. I managed to get to a safe parking spot. I called the tow company I have used for several years but they have raised the rates very high for out of town calls and it would've been 2hrs or more for them to come. I had to find help somewhere else. I went to St. Joseph Auto and Diesel. They took care of it in less than an hour even though they had a full day's work in the shop and they had to go to my car to fix it. They made sure the tire pressure was correct and the bad tire was loaded into my car. I asked what the charge was....they took care of everything AT NO CHARGE!!! What a Blessing!! DEFINITELY check them out for all of your automotive needs!!!

I've been coming here for all my vehicles needs for about the last two years now. I've been blown away by their outstanding customer service!!! Their staff is friendly and welcoming. I always get a reminder text or phone call the day before my appointments. They always do a thorough inspection of my vehicle during the oil changes and print out a report with pictures if they find any deficiencies. They are never pushy or pressure you to get the deficiencies repaired and they are very honest about which ones can wait, and which ones can not. I just recently had them do two substanial repairs for me and they did such a great job! They kept me informed of everything throughout the two day repair process!! They were totally transparent on the prices and the final price was what they had quoted me ahead of time. A+++ service in my opinion! I would definitely recommend using them!!

My husband bought a used truck and just wanted to have it checked out, fluids changed ect. They were able to get him right in and take care of everything for him. He's very happy with the service received and the timely manner it was completed in.

I literally was traveling alone with my doggie doing 78mph on 74 tire completely blew off I was able to take control of the car and not wreck and got off there exit parked at DQ and had a complete anxiety attack scared to death walked to there shop and was greeted by a lady and man in the office that treated me like I was family and went and changed tire to donut and helped calm me down and direct me to a shop that could put a tire on for me I recommend ANYONE and EVERYONE to this shop! If it wasn’t for them I have NO idea what I would have done thank yall SO much for everything!Respectfully, Kristina Berry and Dog

Great service from friendly individuals -- had to get quite a bit of work done and prices were reasonable with a quick turnaround! I had all new tires & brakes put on and I'm so happy with the service they provided.

Great place and service! My sister was in town and had a tire problem! They looked for the cause and fixed it and didn’t charge her! Now that’s something you don’t see anymore! Thank you St Joe Auto for taking care of my sister!
