Applied for passport: The lady either doing everything on purpose because she hate people, or she doesn’t know what she doing at all! You have to tell her what she need to do , what to send with application, otherwise your application will be denied or delayed, I’m not only one she did it to a lot of people! She need to be replaced with somebody else!

Visiting this location is always a pleasant experience. I mail packages at least twice a week from here. The desk clerks are friendly, helpful and efficient.

Updated!! Please read!!Horrible service!!! I called couple times, all I heard is just track it more, keep monitoring.. when my package is at their location since January 26th, not scanned and untraceable. Today is feb 4th. Here is the proof. Their location, USPS 60194. They are in possession of my package since January 26th and stuck there for 2 weeks nobody scanned it or looked at it. What do I do??? Wait for what? How long? I contacted the shipper, they also emailed back that the package is at your nearest USPS location. And this is not my 1st incident with this specific location. Avoid at any cost. Rude and disrespectful people. Worst place.Updated!! It’s feb 16th my package is still in their possession when I track it. From Schaumburg was sent to Melrose post office last week and just checked it again they sent it from Melrose back to Schaumburg office where it was from January 26th. MIND-BLOWING! This order is coming from Canada, it arrived in US in 5 days, and here couple miles from me it’s stuck for a month now..

My favorite post office. The workers that scan in dropped off packages are the best. All my packages start tracking almost immediately. The drop off area is also very convenient, I go out of my way to go to this post office. Highly recommend.

They are open until 7 p.m...unique to the post office operating hours. I came from Buffalo Grove there to get a postcard after 5 p.m. because the others were closed. Very friendly respectful service.

they lost my mail pieces announced in USPS Informed Delivery for Aug 11 and Aug 12. Supervisor fed me empty hopes in 2 days: I have to wait 7 business days according "USPS Informed Delivery" email.Today they the answers are:what is a tracking numberwe lost nothingrequest the sender an other emailAs for me it really means that those mail pieces are lost by USPS.the most realistic version that they are mistakenly delivered to the wrong address.

Staff is rude and unhelpful. I had a package with an incorrect shipping label, which I admit was my fault, and a worker told me in a condescending way that'd I'd have to pay a lot of money to actually ship it. Seems like I was also being overcharged for shipping, I didn't want any priority mail, I never use anything but the standard cheapest option, but it was tacked on anyways without myself being informed. I'm sure the kiosk is fine if you have anything small to ship.

They lost my daughter's SSN twice, even though the USPS informed delivery showed that SSN is in transit, it never arrived.And somehow they expect you to know in and out of all packaging related stuff like we are doing job there.

Horrible service - I have had packages be in transit for 29 days, they never scan packages upon pick up even when requested to do so. So tracking a package is impossible if they do not scan it. I have had credit cards not be delivered but yet purchases made on them. Stolen at the post office. No one ever answers the phone when you call or when someone answers they can never help and say someone will call you back and they never do. If you do a mail stop -it never happens. Why offer services that you do not provide? From now on I will only use UPS for packages - they are less expensive to ship, you just have to drop off packages there instead of getting them picked up at your door. Inconvenient but more efficient.

Very low customer service. ? I absolutely was shocked how rude was one of the passport lady. If you would like to expiriance unappreciation this is your place. I would be more then happy to go a different location and get better service. We are people and I would prefer to be treaded like one.

This location seems to lose cards/envelopes on a regular basis. This is the 3rd card not delivered. The first had $$ in it so that was a bad move on my part. Is the weight a giveaway that there’s something else in the envelope? Seems shady to me that I drive to this location to drop it off in the mail box thinking it may be more secure but they don’t seem to deliver. Reconsider mailing out of this location.

I was so glad I stopped by this post office today, I have never been here but based on my experience I will head back when I need to send a package in the future. Compared to my local post office, it was nice to see more than 1 teller open to help the customers in line, having 2 staff members helped get through the line in a decent amount of time. When I got up to the counter, the woman was extremely helpful and had a positive demeanor, she actually showed me a wide variety of books of stamps to look through which was rock star customer service. The facility was clean and had a nice selection of gift cards, all occasion cards, and shipping center, which were all fully stocked as well. I wish all of my trips to the post office went as well as this one and I would highly recommend giving them a try if you are in the area and need one of their services.

After reading all these bad reviews, you all must not of had Autumn , she is the most amazing, most efficient and most friendly USPS Clerk I have ever met. She will make sure that she gets what you need done very quickly and with a smile on her face. I know that postal workers get a bad rap but Autumn is changing that with some quickness. I challenge all of you that left a negative review, to go see Autumn and I guarantee that you will change your mind to 5 stars! Your one in a million Autumn, keep doing what your doing because it’s working :)
