The actual repairman is excellent however the scheduling system was the WORST. I waited ALL DAY for a repairman and they never showed. Not because of the repairman but because the system overbooked. In addition they give a ridiculous window of 8-5pm. When I emailed for a more precise time I did not get one. I was not a priority after they failed to show. I had to wait TWO more weeks. I only waited because I trust the excellent repairman

* The tech explained why the gas valve failed on the water heater, he replaced the part and we had hot water that day within the hour. Wonderful job by the tech, he has pride in his work and it shows with the quality.

The service man was nice and did a good job diagnosing our problem, but was told the repair would take an hour, the parts would be $239, and the total bill would be over $700 because of labor. When asked why i'm paying over $400 an hour he said it was a flat fee. Seems insanely high for what needed to be done.Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

I bought a top loader washing machine in April 2021 from Home Depot, but called Sears fir repair. Had I known Sears was still around, I might have purchased from them, but it's really not a Sears or Home Depot issue, but a GE issue. It stopped working after just over one year. The warranty has expired and because I didn't spring for the extended warranty on this brand new item, the technician wants more than I paid for the item to repair it. He tells me he thinks it's the motherboard computer system that runs everything. The machine fills with water but won't agitate or drain. This after only one year and it's not used daily or even weekly. This is planned obsolescence at it's worst. Really you charge me $109 plus tax (the going rate, I called around) to tell me that for $637 they can replace the motherboard. The machine retails at about $579. Shame on you GE. Worst purchase if my life.

I was told that a technician would arrive and he would be able to evaluate many many complaints about my through the wall heater to determine whether it would be replaced. Instead the same technician who has been to my home at least 4 times in the past 6 weeks arrived. He previously has told me that he does not have the authority to make such an evaluation. He replaced a gasket and the motherboard blew and now needs replacement. It will be ordered on Monday from the manufacturer. Within the past 6 weeks, the motor and fan have been replaced, a gasket and now the motherboard. The cost would have been almost $1,000 had I not had a maintenance agreement. Sears had and will continue to spend money down its drain on this unit. Isn't it time for a replacement?

Truly horrible experience. Was told at appointment that $79 service call would be waived if proceeded with repair. When the tech came out, said if proceeding that day service call is waived, but another one would be charged plus part plus labor to fix. I verbally objected, but elected to proceed. I never would have agreed to the initial visit if I knew that. I contacted the manufacturer who was willing to provide a discount and cancelled the Sears order 36 hours later. I received confirmation of the cancellation for the return visit and part and was told that the refund was requested. I was also told I would receive a call back from a supervisor within 2 days and never did. 8 days later, the part arrived at my door and called to find out why and was told they would only send UPS to pick it up, no written confirmation, no tracking number, no air bill. I asked to escalate and was told that was not possible. I was also told that the refund process was not started and that they would request. I asked where to file a complaint, and the rep didn't know. I filed a complaint through Facebook as directed by Sears' website and was told that I would not receive a call and the refund was started and would take 10-14 days. They are untruthful, do not allow you to speak with a supervisor and do not try to resolve the complaint or escalate. Complaint has been filed with BBB along with disputing the charge.

Joe K. was very thorough with his service. He stuck around to hear how the dishwasher ran after cleaning it out. Then he did so again when he changed out the grinder/chopper. I appreciate him confirming that it doesn't vibrate excessively anymore. Fingers crossed that the top rack gets nice and clean with the next full load of dishes.Service: Dishwasher repair

Beware of this services company that is running a scam. I opened a ticket through my warranty company for my Samsung refrigerator . I was assigned a technician named Dajaincer , when the technician arrived he just took the model number of the refrigerator went to his van , sat for 10-15 came back and collected the service fee and without even looking/opening the refrigerator told the warranty company that sensor is destroyed due to power surge. Where in the issue was just a faulty drainage pipe ,Clearly this business is a group of non experienced folks that we can better tag as con artists. I have been trying to request another technician which they don't want to send Better Ignore this service company , hope they are legacy soon

We took the extended warranty on our Kenmore Elite Refrigerator. In spring of 2020 it stopped cooling. A yearly maintenance person came out but by that time it had start working again. He said it was because we had too much in the refrigerator. Then in June of 2021 it stopped cooling again. We called made an appointment for July. They canceled. We made another appointment for August they canceled. Made another appointment for September they canceled. So we made another appointment for October they canceled again. This time we called Sears Warranty Dept. all they said was make another appointment. We've been without a refrigerator for over three months. All this with 3 senior citizens in the house. I will never buy from Sears ever again.
