My first rental experience was overall good, customer service is legit & prices are better than competitors, plus you have 24 hrs to pick up/drop off. They let me drive a 2024 Malibu for a cheap rate!

I rented a car through hopper from Alamo. There was no age t available when I turned my car in. I was charged an extra $200. Still haven't heard from Alamo!

Employee was very nice and customer service was great. The only reason why I didn't give five stars is because the prices of rental cars now are way too much plus the amount you get charged for an extra hour is ridiculous.

Worst experience from a rental car agency ever. Rented a car at VPS on July 26. The car had a lurching problem. Called Alamo after second day. Call center agent said it sounded like a sticking throttle and the car was unsafe to drive and gave me Alamo’s roadside #. I did, got a case number and was told it could take up to 6 hours to make the exchange. Initial call was made at 4pm. At 10:30 pm I called and said it would have to take place the next day. Next day comes and I contact the assigned tow company. Guy informs me since I canceled the previous night, it would take another 6-8 hours to make the exchange. I told him that was unacceptable. I then called Alamo’s roadside number to tell the person what was going on, and she said, “I guess you’re just gonna have to drive it back to the airport yourself.” I asked to speak to an Alamo manager or supervisor and was assured someone would call me back, this was on Thursday, July 29. When I returned the car to the airport on July 30, I told the attendant that the car needed to be serviced before being rented again and was told that that wasn’t his job. I’ve called several times since then and also sent several dm through Twitter and was told that these types of calls are taken in the order in which they were received, and they only return calls Monday through Friday during normal business hours. It’s now 7 business days since my initial request to speak to a supervisor - still waiting. I have since sent copies of texts/dms to the Corporate office in hopes of hearing from someone.

Extremely rude young man behind the counter. The worst car renting experience I’ve ever had including all overseas rentals. We scheduled for a pickup “after 10:30” and paid in advance. Arrived at 3:30 and was told that since we were late they rented our vehicle out and had no substitute vehicle that would accommodate our travel. As if the bad news wasn’t irritating enough the smug look on his face was over the top. I do not recommend Alamo at this location even if you are an Alamo regular.

I WOULD NOT recommend renting from this company. Got a rental. As we get down the road not even 30 min, it is showing tire is low. So I fill it up. Light never goes off. Tire looks fine figured it was a sensor. 3 hours into my trip I go in a store for about an hour and my tire is completely flat. So I call. This was an issue from taking off with vehicle. Oh who is responsible for the new tire. You guessed it. ME. So we call their assistance. Midway into them arriving the service request is just cancelled out of nowhere. Ended up calling my own roadside assistance to get towed to get a tire put on. I cannot believe what happened!

I've rented cars several times at this location, using my debit card. Not today with Carolyn at Evansville Airport. She was very rude and told me I needed 2-3 utility bills in my name. Excuse me! I've NEVER been asked for this info before when renting from Alamo Evansville Airport. I told her to cancel my reservation, left and went to Enterprise with NO issue. Carolyn is today your 1st day of work??? I will never rent from thus location again.

The first car they rented me was not very nice. There were scratches right in my line of vison. Looked like someone used an 10" sanding disc on it. Could barely see to drive at night. I really don't know how they could rent a car in that shape.

Absolutely loved the service provided by the Alamo rep. I've worked with her 3 times now, and she's just delightful and pleasant to work with! I only book with Alamo now, and it's mostly because of her excellent customer service!

This rental could not have gone better. As an Alamo Insider, I received a free upgrade email which I was able to take advantage of on this trip. Jamie was the agent at the desk when I arrived. I used the preregistration on Alamo's website which enabled me to pick up my keys, with Jamie's assistence in a flash. The Nissan Sentra was clean inside and out. Jamie called me on my first day of rental and after I returned the car to make sure I was satisfied with my rental. I love Alamo Rental!
