Absolutely the worst rental car service and experience yet. Reserved a car weeks ahead online and prepaid. Went to pick up the car and the needed my form of payment. I had already paid but they now needed another $200 deposit with the same card I paid online with. My credit card was hacked this week and had to be canceled so I had been issued another card from the bank. They said I couldn’t get a car unless I have the same card. So I had to call their customer service from my cell phone while I stood in their own building to get a refund and then repay for the car and the additional $200 deposit. Then they proceed to tell me my husband has to come get added to the car to drive it and that I would also need to be there. So we made arrangements to leave work just for them to tell us that was the wrong information and spouses drive free with no additional information needed. AWFUL AWFUL DO JOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!

Reserved a car online, put my husband as the driver, reserved it with my credit card. He went to pick up car, with my credit card in hand (I was stuck at work in a different city) refused to give him the car because I paid for it, even with me on the phone with them. Refused to take his debit card as payment, or take his credit card info over the phone from me. Would not help us in any way. Ruined our entire trip, as he left with no rental car. Worst service we’ve ever encountered. Zero stars

Listen to the reviews , this place needs a overhaul for management . Watch your insurance charges, and your return time. Either corporate is training their management to nickel and dime their customers or there's a commission program thats causing the management to constantly over bill the customer !bad place to rent a vehicle

Rented a vehicle and the drop off date was on a Sunday and since they are closed we were informed to put the keys in the Dropbox and park the car. We were charged for extra days since they didn’t get it entered in the computer that we returned it. Big hassle with hertz to get charges taken off. Will not rent with them again.

With all the reviews talking about the poor attitude of the branch manager, you’d think they would do something about it and find someone new. Same experience as others: rude, no solutions, absolutely no compassion. They close the store at 5 despite the Hertz website and Google saying it closes at 6. Store closed when we arrived at 5:01 and next day she promised the car to another renter the following afternoon. No solutions offered. Stay away

I made a reservation and paid in advance. When I arrived to pick up the car, they said they didn't have a car and didn't know when they would receive one! I couldn't believe the lack of sympathy. They told me I should cancel my reservation soon, or I would be charged for the car I reserved but never received! NEVER AGAIN with Hertz!

Worst experience ever. Booked special vehicle and was told it was ready for me to get. Once I arrived they said they did not have one. Couldn't even cancel the reservation inside. I had to call their support line just to cancel. Absolutely no customer service at all. What a joke of a company.

If I could leave less than one star I would. Booked a car two days prior, on the morning of pickup, 90 minutes before, I get a call from Hertz- "we don't have a vehicle for you." Called the 800 number for help and she asked me "have you attempted to book elsewhere?" as if I was accountable to come up with a vehicle myself. Do NOT use Hertz, or at least the Evansville N Green River Rd location, you will not have a vehicle and they will just shrug their shoulders and tell you to book somewhere else. Unprofessional.

Thought I knew what the definition of "reservation" was but Hertz proved me wrong. Seems it means first come first served as we showed up after having a car reserved for weeks and told us they didn't have anything to offer. They also were unable to refund or money or offer any solution at all while in the storefront. Telling us to contact whoever we had made the reservation through... which was Hertz.We were able to get a refund by calling their number after leaving the place.

First time I tried Hertz: Booked a vehicle two days ahead, was called 90 minutes the morning of pickup and told "we do not have a vehicle for you". Tried calling the 800 number for help and was asked "have you checked anywhere else for a vehicle?". Their company policy is to request that you book elsewhere when you book with them so that you will have a vehicle.DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

DO NOT RENT HERE!! This place is TERRIBLE. We rented online and had a reservation. Car needed for Evansville to Nashille drop-off at airport. Please note everyone who is renting in order to drop off at other location. This was all in my email reservation and confirmed. When you get there however you will be told you have no car!!!! They don't help you!!! I had to find another rental last minute with competitor (hint:E) who felt sorry for us. I had to pay $700 for a one way (I got $250 deposit back) but at least we got to our flight. Was still out money from what I had reservation for at Hertz vs what I had to get as there was a drop off fee. I call customer service which was a joke and escalate up to corporate. If you have had expenses then -Email the CEO like I did if you need to get reimburse I suggest you email them and they are well aware this office does this but refuse to shut it down!!!!!! They need to cut off the website if they can't reserve a car. My reservation said what type of car I had, pick up, drop off, dates , times all that but they said it means nothing! This needs to go to local news!

This place is the worst rental place that i have been. Workers are very rude and they keep going like that. Most of the people saying that they have bad services and customer support but they are still doing same thing. I used to rent a car online then when I go for pick up they said they cannot give me the car for one-way but I already paid in full. In short, use your foots instead of rent a car from this place...
