It's a great place to shop, and the prices are reasonable, but you are expected to check yourself out with there being fewer cashiers. The layout of the store has greatly improved.

Needed a microwave and the aisle where the microwaves are needs to be more organized. You see a row models on display and then it's a guessing game on trying to find that particular exact microwave . You would think since they cut back on cashiers that they would have more employees available to assist customers around the store

I don’t understand why the employees here are SO RUDE!! And the wait time for curbside pick up is outrageous. I could’ve gone in and shopped and left already by the time they come out with your bags.

I understand the curbside pick up is behind but you see them standing around why you waiting on your groceries. You call the store to see if you can come in to pick it up. They pick up and put you on hold then they hang up. Not good customer service. This the 2nd I had pick up. I learn only do pick up 1st thing in morning.

Love this store!! Whether I'm dealing with pharmacy, vision or just shopping, the employees are great, from walking in the door to checkout! My latest experience was in dairy. The employees were unloading a truck and super busy, yet LJ made the time to go in back and get something for me that was not on the refrigerator shelf! And he did the same for another woman that walked up while I was waiting!! Thank you LJ and all the walmart employees that go above and beyond!!

I really hate the self checkout . I'm not interested in standing there giving my hard earned money to Walmart while I watch employees look at me like I'm a thief while checking myself out or the employees are standing around looking at their phones if I wanted to work at Walmart I'd get a job there I'd be awesome at not doing anything and getting paid for it. Hammond store is always a mess . And never had any cashier's working ever.

NEVER pick up the phone for ANY dept! Terrible service. I ordered 3 glass jars of sauce AFTER my regular shopping list was delayed, so i canceled it. After getting my jars today, I go to open them, and have and behold. One of them is broke and explored everywhere on my CARPET and my COUCH,I just bought.

Walmart has some of the best prices but getting great service is biggest issue. This location had me so upset that I sent complaints to every agency that governs the way they do business. I had brief encounter with a employee named Faith who was one of the worst I've ever dealt with. This employee came and canceled my transaction, took my coupons and walked away. After a few minutes she came back with my property with no explanation as to why she took my property and canceled the transaction. The gentleman needed a override due to him having to manually put in my coupon because they wouldn't scan. I thought she was rude to her fellow employee as well as me and my wife. Because she never spoke to us we had no choice but to speculate about her actions. I believe she though we were scamming the store. The coupons were for malt o meal. She never greeted us nor did she speak one word to us. She's a team leader but that day I saw no leadership from her. It gets better. I filed a complaint about our treatment and apparently it made it into the hands of management an they spoke to her about it. I received a email saying that Walmart responded to my complaint. I logged in and to my surprise the author called my wife and I dumb. They went on to correct my math on on the coupons. Management allowed her to represent their store by calling us dumb. I contacted the website who posted the review and was told that only the employees at Walmart had access to my complaint. They don't post complaints in a public forum so whoever wrote the response did so as a employee. Since no communication was had I have to assume that Walmart knew an supported the author. To write a complaint and get a reply from Walmart that my wife and I are stupid reflex all the negative reviews. I've posted this issue on Google, Facebook, instagram and BBB website. Totally unprofessional employees and by the look of things maybe she was taught be a manager that encourages this behavior. To give a employee access to a complaint and allow her to reply calling us dumb is horrible. Please share my experience as two days have gone by with no response from Walmart. So if Walmart reads this, I want to know why did your employee take our property and walk away with it? Why did she cancel my transaction? Honestly I don't need a reply because what I posted is true and I hope Jay they are shamed into doing the right thing. Faith the only thing that you had to do was a override but instead you took our property and now insult me and my wife.

Each time I come to this Wal-Mart, there are not enough cashiers. Well this particular day, there were 4 cashiers. Each line, the cashier had customers with full carts. It had been 20 minutes in line. This was my second line. The cashier was frustrated because her line was growing, and the lady had 2 carts full of items. I asked her if she could get more cashiers. She went and found Anastasia, the front store lead. I asked her if she had more cashiers, and she said that's all she had. I told her that we should not be forced to go to self check out. Now Anastasia opened up lane #33 and she took customers herself. I truly appreciate the A1 service that she and the cashier displayed. They both went above and beyond. WalMart you need more cashiers. Everyone does not want to do self check out. This is not the first request. I see posta and comments everywhere. When will you listen to your consumers, or do you just not care?

Manager faith is nasty and talks to customers like trash, they don't honor refunds from the "lansing store", employees walk around with headphones and ignore customers, and managers stock shelves on their phones no wonder the inmates are running the prison they have the boss doing gbwir job smh..Horrible management, horrible customer service, horrible experience overall...steer clear you've been warned
