“The best moving company I have ever dealt with over the years w/ 4 major (full family household) international moves. These moves were done over many different years and Global has remained consistent over all those years. Our moves w/ Global were as follows: Houston to Singapore and then Singapore to Houston. Then, again, years later the exact same move years later Then, a few years later, Houston to Singapore (3rd Singapore move) and then Singapore to Subic Bay, Philippines. Then Subic Bay, Philippines to San Francisco Bay Area. With ALL these Global moves the total loss/damage was one cheap drinking glass (not even $5). I'm sure if I had made a claim Global would have immediately sent us a check! They are excellent, which brings me to the understanding that there may be another outfit masquerading around as Global when in fact they are not (similar name). Be sure you know who you are dealing with. Real Global was established 1933 or thereabouts. "Christine T's" yelp review of 8-8-2019 provides more info on fictitious Global company. Also, do yourself another BIG favor; NEVER use United Van Lines. This is based an a VERY lousy move w/ them. We had a lot of damage and missing items and huge ins. claim and all the nonsense and stress that goes w/ that while trying to move yourself and your family in and get your life on track at a new location AND, also, we had significant pilferage from many boxes of stored items. I will NEVER, EVER use UNITED VAN LINES, again!!!! I would not accept a move offer from them even if it was 100% free, but that is just me based on the hell we went through with them. I would NOT entrust them w/ my dog's dog-house. My employer tried United as our corporate mover at that; I had no choice. Guess they were trying to save money; remember, "you get what you pay for" or sometimes not even that! Our next move is in 2020 to NM and I will ONLY be making one phone call; GLOBAL (the REAL Global Van Lines). Good luck w/ your move! Hope it all works out to your full satisfaction.”

“I picked up a trailer on Sunday morning 02/04. There was only one person working in the store, and he was already waiting on two customers by himself. He was doing his best to help out one family, while it looked like he was just finishing up with another lady. During this time, he's also answering phone calls from customers and managing it all extremely well and with a great attitude. As I was waiting, another lady came in complaining that she didn't have a paper copy of the contract. The employee explained that there printer wasn't working, and then it began - this lady did everything she could do to complain, yell, belittle, and just generally berate and "bait" the employee to engage in confrontation. The employee handled it in the best way possible. She was yelling at him and complaining loudly - and every time she did, the employee shut her down by simply being direct and polite, in a very professional manner. Keep in mind, this employee is now waiting on the first guy, this lady, now me, and almost non-stop phone calls. I don't know this employee, but he showed MANAGEMENT skills above and beyond working at the counter at UHaul. Polite, professional, friendly, hard-working and helpful. I'm an upper-level manager, and would love to have people like this!The equipment was ok...”

“I was skeptical about renting a U-Haul from this location after reading the reviews but this was the only one that gave me the option to rent and return on the days I need the truck. I made reservations online and got a confirmation which I printed off. I arrive with everything needed my confirmation text and print off..but somehow I wasn’t showing up in their system then once I showed up it wouldn’t let me rent. Larry had me step over to his desk and he worked everything out. I think if it would’ve been for Larry I would’ve got turned away although I had reservations and confirmation. He was very helpful and polite. I returned the truck and he was the only one I seen working checking in trucks that had arrived before me. I decided to wait to let him check in my truck instead of getting an email. If I rent anything or buy from this U-Haul I definitely will ask for Larry! Thank you Larry you’re awesome. Very hard worker, works well under stress.”
