I recently ordered a cake from west Hy-Vee with a specific design from their catalog. Unfortunately, when I arrived to pick it up, they had not been able to fulfill my request and didn't inform me beforehand. This lack of communication left me disappointed and frustrated. While the taste of the cake was satisfactory, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. I hope they can improve their communication and attention to detail in the future.

EDIT: I just changed my 5-star rating to 1-star because Hy Vee responded to my review with an ad. Remove the ad section of the response and I will return my rating to a 5-star. Google Reviews and comments/replies is NOT a place to stuff advertisements in our faces and we cannot allow business to do this.Original Post: Im visiting from Utah and was pleasantly surprised with great customer service, delicious options, alcohol choices (Utah sucks), and an overall pleasant experience.

The foral department went above and beyond during the holiday season. I ordered a plant for a gender reveal and sent someone else to pick it up. They do not normally box them up but when I told then what it was for they said they would figure it out. They definitely did :-) We received a beautifully wrapped large box complete with a Christmas bow. Their extra effort made our Christmas gender reveal extra special. Thanks HyVee Floral!

Its a nice place to grocery shop but as for the pharmacy I think their hours suck on the weekends. A lot of people work on weekends until 430-530 so I think maybe they could stay open until 6-7 instead of 5.i had to wait until Monday to get my meds and I was out Sunday all day because I had to work during their pharmacy hours. Other than that, friendly staff, clean, and large selection of stuff.
