I bought 2 ferrets here back at the end of August. Unfortunately, one passed away from a blockage 32 days after we brought her home. Petco’s policy is 30 days. When I went to the store, the manager lacked compassion and empathy- offering no help but 10% off. The other ferret was starting to get lonely, missing his friend— so i asked what my options were and all she could offer was 10% off. Very sad. I ended up spending another $400 to replace a family member that didn’t make it so I wouldn’t lose the other one. RIP Bella.

store manager refused to sell me a female hamster as i mentioned i might breed it
i have been doing business here for fifteen years or more and manager Alexis just lost my business forever
i normally buy all my dog and cat food here

thousands of dollars to this store
i will never spend a dime here again
never been treated so poorly by a lead staff in a petco
well if i were you and you read this i would stay away from this store and that manager needs replaced by someone who understands she just lost a paying customer who keeps the lights on in her place

Awful. Took my golden doodle for a groom. 7 hours. They shaved her to the skin. I said that is not my dog. $100 for a shave. Ridiculous. Then asked for a tip. I bit my tongue. She went in as a golden doodle came out looking like a shaved rat terrier. .

Good pet store to go to. I like this place to grab my pet supplies and the employee's are really helpful and nice. I love the selection that they have.

I made a grooming appointment one month in advance, they canceled the day of the appointment 15min before the appointment, after a 20 mile drive, because the dog was Excited, Happy & Playful, they told me the dog was anxious and had anxiety.

I will never take my dog here again. First it was his vaccines, which were up-to-date. Then she said my 1yr old puppy was aggressive and lunging at her. My dog has never been aggressive towards anyone. And the last time he was trimes at the moline petoco I had no issue. Then she preceed to say he might be aggressive because he is a rescue. Absolutely not. I am beyond mad. What a waist of my time . I honestly think she just didn't want to cut my dog. This was all ridiculous.

I'm not sure if there is enough space here to describe the poor experience I had.
I placed an online order for same day pickup at 8:40AM because they were offering $20 off an $80 purchase. I ordered, got email verification, my bank showed payment processing. I went to pick the order up and they said they did not have an order for me at all. Nothing. Absolutely nothing on their end showing my order. I showed them the confirmation, the order, the email, the bank transaction. I said I ordered online for pick up so I could come in quickly and get out quickly as I was on my lunch hour.
The clerk that was helping was brand new. She asked a coworker for assistance getting into the hand held device to check the order. The clerk that she asked for helped was inattentive and did very little to help. When the clerk could not find the order, she went to talk to the manager in the office. She was of no immediate help either. I said, I ordered and paid for the products, could I just get them off the shelf and be done. They said no even though I had verification of order and payment. She again went to talk to the manager. The manager still did not come out but told her to have ME call customer service. I told the clerk that I was not calling customer service and told her I wanted to talk to the manager myself. The manager did finally come up to speak with me. I told her this was not a "me" problem, it was a PetCo problem and SHE needed to find the resolve, not me. She finally called customer service who said they were having online order software issues. In the meantime another customer came in to pick up their online order. I asked how long ago she placed the order and she said less than 2 hours ago. Her order was there and ready for pickup.
So was it really a software issue??? Could be...but... Customer service finally told her to cancel my original order (which they said they NEVER got so not sure how you can cancel something you never got, right??) They pulled the items in my order off the shelf, rang up the new items, had me pay AGAIN. They needed to add Petco bucks to cover the $20 difference from the online order.
45 minutes later, I was finally able to get out of there. I will NEVER order online again. They had an error and wanted ME to resolve it by calling customer service....NOPE! It took persistence on my part to finally get my products. Most people would have walked out the door and tried to get customer service to help them.
