Came in to get my dog some nice treats for his Birthday. I ordered a cupcake, and 2 of the peanut butter cups for him. Every time he ate one he got sick!! I am extremely displeased, and will not be back. I thought it would be nice to treat him for his bday. Instead he got sick. Would not reccomend buying any treats out of the display case from there!!

Was followed around by an overweight white man w barely any hair that worked there. When you’re a person of color you develop a sensor for these type of things and he was definitely keeping an eye on me. Really disappointed. Every time I looked back there he was. Asked multiple times if I needed help finding something. Halfway through walking through the aisles I realized that I was not going to give my money to a business that racially profiles people of color. Do better. It’s 2023 about to be ‘24. This isn’t the 50’s.

The staff is extremely kind, helpful and we appreciate that their products are guaranteed. If something doesn't work for or dog or he doesn't like a toy, etc. you're able to bring it back and get something else. Definitely recommend Bone-A-Patreat!

Bone-a-patreat is your one-stop-shop for all things pet related. Cannot say enough good things. Speaking from most frequented experience of the Des Moines location, although been to others on occasion and have always been serviced just as well.I don’t know of another store where 1. You’re rewarded in loyalty cash to put towards future purchases, 2. You can take part in their bagged food program where you buy 12 bags and your 13th is free, 3. They offer to carry your bags out for you.In addition, if there’s a certain product, or a brand they do not stock, they’ll happily custom order it for you! Nothing compares to their offerings, products + and customer service! They are the most knowledgeable team ever.

We love Bone-A-Patreat! I won't go anywhere else for our pet's needs. Such high quality products and the absolute best customer service. The staff is so accommodating, friendly and helpful. As a new dog owner, I had a lot of questions. I can't wait for our next trip back :)
