I've been going to this nail salon for years, and they never disappoint! The salon itself is impeccably clean and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The staff here are not only highly skilled but also incredibly attentive to your needs. The quality of their work is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Highly recommend!

My recent acrylic manicure at California Nails, just two days ago, was an excellent experience. The salon was exceptionally clean, which was very reassuring. The nail technicians were warm and passionate about their work. They kept up a friendly conversation without ever losing focus on their meticulous work. California Nails offers top-notch service, and I couldn’t recommend them more.

I got a gel manicure with nail extensions, and they turned out beautifully. The technician was meticulous and made sure every nail was perfect. The pedicure included a relaxing foot soak and an exfoliating scrub. The foot massage was so relaxing, it felt like I was at a spa. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be back.

Was passing through Des Moines and was able to get my nails done there. They make sure to get me in in a timely manner and they did exactly what I asked them of. My nails look fabulous! Very kind service and reasonably priced.
Requested style: I asked for a specific link and color and shaped to my powder field nails, and I am extremely pleased

Exceptional service and cleanliness! The staff are incredibly nice and make you feel comfortable right away. I got both a manicure and pedicure, and they were done to perfection with no pain. The owner’s warm welcome was the cherry on top. AJ is my go-to nail salon!

I went yesterday on Sunday 3/24/2024. To get a simple manicure. My experience was horrible, I previously had acrylics on. she didn’t remove everything all the way nor did she buff them out. White you can see how indented my nails look. She was rushing to do my manicure, when there was on two other clients in the salon. No one was to get helped so I don’t see whey they were rushing people. I told her that my nails did not look good and she didn’t bother to fix them. Today they looked worst and the nail polish is coming off as it was a sticker. My friend who’s was next to me was complaining how they were aggressively grabbing their hands. If I could give this place a ZERO stars I would. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! My nails look like a child did them. If you want to waste your money and walk around with hideous nails go there. I have attached two picture of how awful they look. I went back the following day and a guy fixed them and did a good job. I next day same issue

I went to California Nails on Sunday they did a terrible job on my nails and toes. I spent 133.00$ just on service plus 40.00$ on tips. My toes didn’t get cleaned up with a #3 pedicure $55 paint was uneven and sloppy. Nails the lady I asked her several times to make them square with round edges. The shape is wrong and the tip is too big I had to go home and file them down to try and slim them down. The acrylic is uneven and lumpy. I would suggest never use California Nails in Merle hay Mall!!
