Received a great education from Loras and had a lot of good experiences here including broadcasting football and basketball games, studying in Ireland for a semester, and learning that Busch Light is the nectar of the gods. Do yourself a favor and don't go to University of Iowa....go to Loras College! Once a Duhawk, always a Duhawk!

Probably difficult to get to in a wheelchair. Nice variety of books of interests and the staff is nice. They hold fun things for the holidays and three decorations are beautiful. Loras merch is pretty highly priced though.

Proud '94 Graduate--rich in Catholic tradition, great community, school spirit and prepared me well in my teaching profession. Most importantly, my faith became my own, I made life long friends, and I have very fond memories of my time at Loras! Go Duhawk's

We brought son #3 here for a college visit, so I can only review that process. Some colleges have days with big open houses, but we scheduled our own visit. We went to the admissions office and there was a group of 3 other perspective students with parents waiting and then we started on our tour of the campus. The tour was very thorough and then we met with someone in the business department and their admissions department. Loras has the Lynch Learning Center which is a great resource if you have student with special needs which is our case. It's designed to give your student the extra help they need in the college setting. Not many schools have that at the level they do. The visit was very thorough and we enjoyed the drive from the Chicago area to Dubuque. At this point, it's another potential school on the list, so who knows if we will be visiting it much more in the future.
