I have two complaints about this bank. Very hard to reach by phone and NEVER have enough tellers on hand. Never used to be this way when was first American!!!! Banked for years there.

Only opened account because I thought it would be great to have a local bank instead of Navy Federal Credit Union. I will be staying with Navy Federal! Green State automatically signs you up for NSF coverage for your debit card so if you happen to spend more then is in your account they let it go through then charge you 31.00 for each and every transaction. I had zero idea that would happen. I told them I wanted to close the account only to be told they will charge a fee since I just opened it a few months ago. I was also told I would be charged a different fee if I didnt use the account. Customer service has a horrible attitude. If I had known all the fees I would have NEVER opened an account with them. I was made to feel like I didnt matter at all because I dont have a ton of money.

Incredibly rude and shady business practices if you get a loan here. Charges for insurance on vehicle even when you show proof of coverage. Do not go with this company.

A customer wrote me a check from this bank, and the bank the check was from (this green state bank) WANTED TO CHARGE A $10 CHECK CASHING FEE ON A $50 CHECK!!!???? WILL NEVER BE BACK THERE!!!

I would rate one person behind counter for gave me chargers up my wheel chair asked her how much started charging manager comes out tells me not allowed to use out side plug in to charge my wheelchair I told him that I was given permission to charge my chair and he stood their like I was wrong which I told him he said ok finish charging chair for I'm booking side walk but their was enough room for two of his employees walked by with enough room but manager basicly called me a liar. I know that I would be transferring my account some other place for I'm a vet and was treated like dirt which I would weekend others to do the same for also will tell others how I was treated and hope they do the same for me and family will do so and I'll also let others that who are vets in wheelchairs and bonsai, and see. For if I could work I would rather do that then be treated like this a vet, want disabled person. My chair don't work that good and I figured I would be treated different.
