The atm wasn’t working and the drive thru teller was visiting inside with another customer and totally ignoring anyone in the drive thru lane. Being the only one in the drive thru lane I left after 10 mins!

Always a friendly staff at the North Liberty branch. Bridgette is exceptional! She is always very friendly and she is Johnny on the spot. Very helpful with whatever need or situation that you might have. The minute you walk in the door she has a cheerful smile and greeting for you! You can't ask for any more.

The staff at this branch are very personable, respectful and knowledgeable. Have an issue, i.e., with a credit card, they are there for the client so the issue can be resolved. Have a question about setting up Zelle, they can assist. Michelle G and Bridgette G have been great to work with.

All the bankers I've dealt with at this branch (3-4 on premise and a couple by phone), have been super courteous and helpful. Michelle G in particular has always remembered us and been great to work with. Keep up the great service guys and gals!

Worst bank ever opened my account for a month put my money I live off of in there then they put a hold on my account and stopped the processing of my checks because they needed address verification that should have been done the first day. Now I’m stuck hunting down my checks since they held it for a week then and have been giving me a run around saying they have it then they don’t

Whatever you do, do not use this branch or ATM. We recently had a card compromised at this branch's ATM but more recently had $905 effectively STOLEN by the machine. We attempted to deposit $905 using the machine's cash deposit system. The machine took the cash, errored out, and spit out a receipt saying to call in. We were then told that the money had NOT been applied to our account, they would NOT apply a credit during the process, and that the investigation may take up to 45 days to complete. I was told to call the bank in the branch in the morning and they would be able to resolve it much sooner. The branch, also not accepting any responsibility proceeded to blame the ATM company and even volunteer the information that it's been happening "to quite a few customers lately. We should probably get it looked at." and at the end of the day received the same answer. 45 days. A month and a half. A MONTH AND A HALF for them to keep MY money without providing me a provisional credit during this time. When the issue is resolved we'll be cancelling our account, and may seek legal action for any additional financial issues caused by their error.

I bank with Chase (which doesn’t have any locations in Iowa) so I have been using this bank to get cash and other misc financial needs. The drive through ATM is convenient and the staff has been friendly on the occasions where I have had to go in. If I was going to long term I would consider switching to this bank

OK -- so I banked with this outfit from way back when it was First National in downtown Iowa City-- 1991 -- then moved to North Liberty and eventually moved my account there -- because a colleague of mine at the law school said Lori Meyer is the best personal banker in Iowa. She was the manager then and yes, she was the best. I now live in California and had to deal with some account details through my local branch in Menlo Park. Apparently they goofed it up and so I got an overdraft notice -- for a charitable organization account that had moved all of its money to an investment account that offered pro bono management. The overdraft notice came from North Liberty where I had opened the account so I called them. Just spoke to Andy who figured it all out and made the necessary adjustments within 5 minutes. I could not be more satisfied with that kind of service.

I recommend everyone avoid any US Bank unless you want to be charged $36 fees daily for not having enough money in your account. This bank has a habit of kicking people when they are down, people who need it the least - Don't be surprised to wake up to a $116 processing fee on top of a $30 over draft. This location will reply right away as they like to curate their reviews but do not be fooled. You have been warned. Find any credit union in this city and go there. They won't charge overdraft or silly processing/account fees. US Bank will literally fine you for not being wealthy enough to bank with them. I put $2,700 into my account this month and after 40% of that go directly to US Bank and their nickle dime fees, I am done. After years of having my taxes, paychecks, and anything else I put in stolen, I am leaving and going to a credit union. I suggest you do the same, as an average American.

UPDATE 2: Went to the bank in early June after complaining on the phone about their "fees". At the bank I was told it would be closed the next day. Two months later they sent it to their default services department. I've never had such terrible service or loan shark like fees from a credit union. Do yourself a favor and join a credit union.

I was just charged a fee of $19 because I deposited a check from someone who didn't have sufficient funds. I was charged. HOW is this my fault. Usbank will be loosing my business tomorrow. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
