Missies is our go-to liquor store in Shawnee.”

“A must to visit place at least once a year for those of us here in KC. From artist fairs to the holiday lights there is always something to see and do. Food, shops, local history and art local or visiting make sure you come and see the Plaza.”
“Good variety of shops, and EV charging is available. The shopping center is kept clean, and parking is always convenient and available. There has been a high turnover of businesses in recent years, but the shopping center is bustling and always full.”
“We visited Sahara Restaurant in Rosana Square. They have wonderful Mediterranean food; however this time they did get our order a little wrong. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Hummus and got the Chicken Shawarma Plate instead. It was still wonderful, but I love their hummus more. I recommend the place wholeheartedly. Be patient, they make your order while you wait.”
“Gus's Famous Fried Chicken is a staple in the south, so I was surprised to see them in the midwest. The chicken was good as always ( this is some really good stuff ) The staff was pleasant.”
“Most people’s favorite place in KC area. This amazing shopping center has many restaurants, cafes, and stores. You can find some of the best Italian, Brazilian, Chinese, seafood and more. The area is very beautiful and has many fountains. Kansas City is known as a city of fountains. You’ll know why when you visit this beautiful area. Also, many people enjoy this area because of the beautiful and colorful architecture.”

“Best dollar tree in kansas so far. I actually got to experience a STOCKED dollar tree instead of tripping over their carts full of stock that they don't put on the shelf. They literally have the exact same number of employees as other locations so this dollar tree should set the example for the others.”

“Ranch Mart Shopping Center renovated a few years ago and it’s much more popular now.Starbucks , McDonalds, CVS, Price Chopper and a nice assortment of other stores make Ranch Mart an easy location for most of your needs.”

“This is an excellent full-service Target store. I used to visit it regularly plus the Office Max and Half-Price Books store in the shopping center. Convenient location near major roads: I -35, 119th Street and Strang Line Road gives easy access.”
“Probably some of the best for dining options all on one corner. You have the Vie Cafe for several types of Asian dishes, fox and the hound if you want to play some pool and get a pint, Korean chicken is alway good, Krispy kreeeeme donuts, and Dennys is always open.”

“The Plaza is a unique experience being the first shopping district in the United States. Great architecture, fine art and fountains. A must-see if you come to Kansas City. While there are great restaurant, I would love to see restaurants like the Palm or Lawry's come to the Plaza. More destination restaurants.”
“Nice shopping area for more of an upscale experience. They have street parking and a garage. The street parking was plentiful during a weekday morning visit. They have nice open spaces for hanging out. There's a bunch of restaurants and shops to make a morning or day of.”
“My brother surprised me with some custom hoodies and Tees made for me and my wife for Christmas. When I saw them I was completely blown away and totally amazed at the design, the craftsmanship and the clean look of the finished products. My wife and I are going to the Super Bowl to watch the Chiefs. So, I went back to “CUSTOM TEE” to have some unique Chiefs apparel made. The finished product was absolutely amazing and my wife and I will be wearing custom merch that no one else will have! “Went to Fuzzy's Tacco place for lunch. They have different specials every day. The food looked and tastes really good and was plenty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you sit outside you can bring your dog.”

“Awesome little area!!! Great antique mall, Fabulous Find!!! There's a thrift store a few doors down. There's a dollar store. The Peanut restaurant is there. And numerous other places!! You can browse the antique mall then step over to the restaurant for lunch and take a little break then hit a few more stores right there or go a few blocks over and there's tons of other GREAT little stores to do more shopping!!! Its just a wonderful gem of an area.”
